5 out of 5 starsJust a small booklet but it tells you everything from how to drape a dress and remove sports from clothes to how to trim a hat or decorate a dressing table. A fun read.

5 out of 5 starsA beautiful collection of costume ideas! These wonderful ideas would still work today. Several have been forgotten over the years. Truly beautifully done! 😃

About bluehoursatelier
My love of books, design and history brought me to vintage sewing.
I'm obsessed with books, sewing machines, vintage fashion, visual art and philosophy of history. And David Bowie. When I'm not brooding, I sew. And sometimes I even brood while I sew.
My childhood dream was librarian. Instead, I was a philosophy student, then I was a creative writing student, and now I'm a supposed adult with two degrees of little obvious use, a crafting addiction and three cats. I'm also a self taught sewist/tinkerer fascinated most by the designs, methods and social history of the 1920s-1950s and the sewing machinery of the early 1900s.
My shop is a place to reproduce and share some of my best finds with others with similar interests. (My current favorites are Woman's Institute dressmaking and millinery books!)
Thanks for visiting my shop! I have another shop for digital collage, art journaling materials, and handmade paper at www.etsy.com/shop/BlueHoursPaper. For made to order lingerie, please visit my other Etsy shop, www.etsy.com/shop/BlueHoursLingerie.
