I *might* be obsessed with yarn.
I learned to crochet in 2008 while my husband was sick and recovering from cancer. I needed something to keep my mind and hands busy, and it needed to be quiet and easy to bring with me to long doctors visits. Since learning my first stitch, I have come so far! I've fulfilled thousands of orders, shipped all over the world, written patterns, been published (YAY!), and received amazing feedback from people that were as happy to receive something I made just for them.
Now, over a decade later, nothing brings me more joy than making something special for people that will appreciate it. Custom orders are my favorite. In between special requests I make what I want and offer them here in my shop, but thankfully custom orders keeps me busy.
