Welcome To Blue Licorice. I am retired and now devote most of my time to creating inspiring jewelry pieces. I try to keep my prices lower because I feel everyone should be able to enjoy handmade artisan jewelry. I hope you find something you like while browsing the store and any feedback is welcome.. Would love it if you followed me on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest, as well. If you don't see it here, ask, you never know what can be done.

I work hard to provide my customers with a very satisfying experience, if you feel I have succeeded, a review of your purchase is very much appreciated.

I will ask for a deposit of half of the cost of any particular custom order that I accept as I sometimes have to buy additional supplies in order to complete a custom order that I do not have readily available. Thanks for your understanding

All purchases are shipped USPS Priority Mail with tracking.

I do accept returns but not on custom orders. Credit, minus original shipping, will be issued upon receipt of the returned item.

About

Beads, Beads and More Beads

I started making jewelry when I wanted a unique badge lanyard for work. I bought some beads and made one and others wanted their own unique lanyard so I bought more beads. Soon Joann's was not enough so I started shopping at bead stores all over the place, then I added wholesalers and my stock kept growing and growing. Over the years I have sold a lot of jewelry but did not get serious about a real business until last fall. I was talking to some friends on FB one night trying to think of a name and my cousin said, "How about Blue Licorice?". It just hit me as right and within days I had business cards, and had opened my shop here. I can never thank her enough for her inspiration. Wherever I go, I look for bead stores. You can find the most marvelous things browsing tiny bead shops, big bead shops and online bead shops. Some of my favorite bead sellers are actually on Etsy. The uniqueness of the beads offered here is great. I have found that the big wholesalers do not always have the latest and best new designs of beads.

I pretty much am trying out new designs or mediums most of the time. I very seldom sit idle while watching TV or even going about my daily business. I can always pick up a project and work on it no matter where I am. My trusty tote goes with me everywhere.

I started making jewelry in 1999. I bought a few beads and soon I needed more and more containers. People started buying and I was hooked. I love to see someone happy with one of my designs.
