Announcement   Welcome to Blue Marble Beading Company! ♥ I have long been drawn to the beauty of what comes out of our earth. The intricate lines of an Agate, the deep rich colors of Tourmaline, the glint of Quartz Crystals in the center of a Druzy. These things have long captivated my imagination and heart. To me they are treasures that are meant to be showcased and lovingly adorned.

I look for unusual specimens. The extraordinary. Whether it be the cut of a breathtakingly beautiful stone or the rare one of a kind gem.

I like to mix elements, polar opposites, different metals with polished and raw. You will also find the occasional unexpected vintage bead thrown into the mix in some of my designs. A little piece of history to be passed on from one generation to the next.

My hope is that you will find a special piece that speaks to you here. A piece that you will love to wear, keep for many years to come and perhaps one day, pass on to someone you love. ♥

Please visit my supply store bluemarblebeads.etsy.com for unique vintage beads and findings that have been hand picked and collected from various countries all over the world.

To view my dark & sultry vintage jewelry created for the Bohemian soul, please visit my store boudoirbijou.etsy.com .
Thank you,

Sue ♥

About

Enjoying The Journey

Enjoying The Journey

Life has taken me down many roads. I started out like many artist do, experimenting with creativity through different mediums. I dabbled in many other art forms such as stained glass, painting, writing and singing. I always ended up gravitating towards jewelry design. Maybe it's the Magpie in me, or maybe it's just my "true north".

I am a self taught artist. My designs have been featured in Arts On Liberty art gallery in NC. as well as local boutiques. My bead shop has been featured in many major beading magazines over the years.

I believe in giving back to the community. I teach jewelry design to local teenagers. I believe that creativity is as essential to life as taking in nourishment. It needs to be shared and passed on. I love watching that first spark in a new designer's eye. That first flame of passion for the craft. It's a beautiful thing to behold!

If you asked me 10 years ago what I would be doing today, I would have never have said owning a business, doing something I am passionate about and getting paid for it! I am truly blessed! I love that we don't get to see the whole picture. Only glimpses of the path that we are currently on.

Oh, the kid in the picture? He's mine. Amazingly and wonderfully mine. He's the reason behind all of this!
