Living a Dream

I would have never thought in a million years that I would be a small business owner! But, thanks to my loyal customers and through Etsy, it has become my reality. The name for my business, Blue Time Two, came to me when my husband and I found out that we were having our second boy. And, since the creation of this business was for them, I thought it was fitting. You see, I have always dreamed of being able to stay home with my children and be a full time mom while they are little. So, I put my career as a Registered Nurse on hold so that I can care for my babies 24/7. Every sale I make keeps this dream alive! I am so thankful for every customer and the opportunity to design and create things for them.

Gift wrapping and packaging

While I do not offer gift wrapping/packaging, I am happy to include a gift message and gift receipt with the order if it is going straight to your recipient. Just add this request in the notes to seller box during checkout.

Custom and personalized orders

I enjoy working with customers to create something special just for them. Feel free to request a custom decal or a custom design/change to an item currently available in my shop. Please note that I spend a lot of time and effort on custom work so, please, only serious inquiries from customers who intend on making a purchase.

What type of vinyl do you use?

95% of my adhesive vinyl is Oracal 631 (indoor) and Oracal 651 (outdoor). Some colors, patterns, and glitter vinyl are different brands including Avery, Mactac and Tape Technologies.

What type of vinyl should I choose - indoor or outdoor?

If you are planning to put your decal on your vehicle, choose outdoor vinyl. If you are planning to put your decal on an indoor wall or on something you consider delicate, choose indoor vinyl. Other than that, feel free to choose either type. Outdoor vinyl may be used indoors and indoor vinyl may be used outdoors. Sometimes it comes down to your color choice and finish preference (matte vs gloss). Personally, I choose outdoor vinyl for "high traffic" items such as my cell phone, laptop, keychains, tumblers, etc.

What can I apply my decal to?

Vinyl decals adhere best to clean, smooth surfaces. If the surface you are applying your decal is textured, there is no guarantee that it will stick.

My decal isn't sticking. Is there something wrong with it?

If your decal is not wanting to stick to the intended surface, it does not mean that the decal is a "dud". Make sure that the surface is clean, dry, and dust free. When applicable, clean the surface first with rubbing alcohol.

I tore my decal during application. Can you send a free replacement?

Application instructions are included with every order. The instructions stress the importance of using care and patience when applying your decal. Vinyl is, by nature, a thin material. While it is very durable, it is not 100% resistant to tearing during application. If your decal is torn during application it is not a reflection of the product's quality, but is almost always due to user error. If you do happen to tear your decal during application you may contact me for a coupon code to purchase the same item at a discounted rate. Thank you for understanding that free replacements cannot be sent for applications errors.

How do I apply my monogram decal to my graduation cap?

Applying a vinyl decal to a graduation cap is a bit different from applying it to a "normal" surface. I have provided two "how-to" videos on my shop's Facebook page to assist you. Please visit www.Facebook.com/BlueTimesTwo to find these videos. Please exercise patience when applying your decal and understand that it will take a little more time than you may be used to. And, as always, feel free to contact me with questions.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Bulk order discounts are available on most items. Single decals qualify for a bulk order discount with orders of 12 or more (this does not apply to decal sets). For all other items,please contact me.

What happens if I forget to include my personalization requests with my order?

If personalization requests (like color, names, initials, etc.) are not included in the notes section of your order I will attempt to contact you via Etsy conversation. If I do not receive a response I will email you using the email address listed on your order. If I do not receive a response before the order's scheduled ship date I will either complete the order filling in the appropriate missing information myself or will cancel and refund the order. Every situation is different and I will use my best judgement in each case. It is good practice to double check your order before or after it is submitted and to make sure your email address on file is up to date.
