The name Blue Tree Octopus was created to allow me to market myself without feeling all self-promoting. The tree octopus is fictional animal with a real webpage that was created by a professor to teach his students about not believing everything you read on the internet. The hoax is still going on in the online community and has even branched out into new species such as the especially rare blue variety. It would be expecting the extraordinary to see one.

As to me, I am a very broadly skilled artist. I am constantly learning new talents and techniques. I believe in taking everyday things and looking at them in an original way. This often means taking a humble basic craft or item and elevating it to something more. It's the ability to see ordinary, perhaps even unnoticeable, things as potential sources of great beauty.

I love bringing art to people and customizing designs. I want my customers to enjoy their items and be proud wearing or using them. I often make "one-of-a-kind-items for your one-of-a-kind needs."

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase in any way, I will gladly work with you to fix it! Please contact me directly BEFORE feedback and I will try to resolve any issues.

I stand by the quality of my work. I will refund purchases that are damaged or defective. Vintage items are sold "as is" but the listing will clearly detail any flaws or damages.
Payment
Payment in full is required before any item(s) will be shipped. I accept Pay Pal. I accept all major credit cards if used through Pay Pal and money orders.

To pay with a credit card do this:

1) Choose "Paypal" when you check out. You do not need to have a Paypal account in order to make the payment with your credit card.
2) Follow Paypal's prompts and enter your credit card info. That is all there is to it!

I also will accept money orders upon notification via the "notes to seller box" when ordering that I am to expect money order in the mail. You will be notified upon my receiving your money order.
Shipping
I ship within 1-3 business days after receiving your payment. The items listed are ready to ship but I will take custom orders. Please allow additional time for custom items. If you have a question about your order and would like to get a better idea of when it may be shipped, please do not hesitate to ask me.

All shipping costs on the listings are for first class shipping unless you contact me beforehand to make other arrangements. If you want your item shipped faster than first class please send me a convo to request an invoice for the difference in shipping cost for either priority mail or overnight express shipping. I will accommodate you the best that I can!

I check my emails at least once a day in the morning. I will look up the cost for the upgrade in shipping and will get back with you asap!
