Announcement   Happy Holidays and welcome to blue water pottery!
We are in serious Elf-Mode: making lots of pottery and trying to add new listings or quantities every couple days, so if there's something you're waiting on, please send us a message! We'll also be shipping several days a week between now and Christmas, and as long as we get your item ordered by noon on Dec 20th, it will get there in time for Christmas! (provided it's not MTO, yo.) Large orders will be sent via FedEX ground, we'd need those a day earlier most likely unless the recipient is on our coast.

All the pottery here is created from the mind and hands of Jeremy Noet, making a mess on his potter's wheel pretty much seven days a week. His wife Megan takes it from there, helping to get each finished piece out of the studio and into a new home.
Our etsy site currently has but a small portion of our work - if you like what you see, check us out on Facebook! You can also follow us on Instagram @bluewaterpottery
Designed to be used. Destined to make all your other dishes lonely.

Growlers! Hand thrown growlers mean each one needs to be measured and stamped to be legally filled at the tap. We’re adding new pieces several times a week right now, including some of these beauties.
Shipping off this lovely set for a lucky someone’s birthday today! The loving family included a gift note, which we hand write every time, and attach with care.
Unloading a fresh kiln! I’ll be posting new crocks and updating quantities of travel mugs, soap dishes and more! Ready to ship on Monday.

Shop policies

Hi there! So...you like pottery? Us, too. The unique curve of a rim, the lingering trace of the craft-person's hand as they brought forth their vision.

Our vision is pottery that is artful, functions well and is somewhat relaxed - a little fluidity remains even after the firing. We want every piece we make to be used, day in day out, to provide that little bit of pleasure that comes with interacting with a well-made, handcrafted object. Thus our days are incrementally improved.

Returns and exchanges
We do our best to make sure the pottery we ship is accurately represented in our shop. However, if upon receiving our pottery, it is not what you envisioned, you may ship it back to us, at your own expense. The purchase will be refunded upon inspection of the safe return of the pots.

Pottery that is damaged upon arrival will be fully refunded, pending approval of shipping insurance.
Shipping
Most orders we ship in 1-3 business days. If we need to finish the piece, it will probably take longer; usually only a week or so, but pottery does take 3-4 weeks to go from start to finish. If your piece hasn't been started yet and fits that timeline, we'll let you know.
We wrap our pieces in bubble wrap and add peanuts to the box if there's room. Smaller boxes we'll ship USPS Priority Mail. Larger boxes we typically -but not always - ship FedEx Ground. If you live somewhere that needs specific shipping, just let us know at the time of purchase.

All pottery is shipped with insurance against damage.
Additional policies and FAQs
All of our pots are appliance approved. Dishwashers and microwaves are fine, however, be mindful when placing pieces in the oven to avoid thermal shock. (Don't go from fridge to oven, avoid broiling, etc...)

We use only lead-free, food-safe glazes.

Generally speaking, we do not do custom orders. That said, it never hurts to ask.

Our pottery can be found in a number of galleries - just ask to find out if there is one near you!
