Beautiful beads and more!

Welcome! Thank you for stopping by to visit my shop. Hope you can take a moment to browse for awhile, I have a great collection of beautiful Czech glass beads:)

I've been selling on-line for over 12 years now. I started on that other E site, but when a friend there told me about a new selling venue called Etsy, I looked and was hooked:) My first venture here was a jewelry shop. I loved the huge variety of Czech beads available, and couldn't stop buying them! When I had the misfortune to lose my full-time job due to restructuring, I decided to see if I could create a job for myself.

I started off selling from the huge stash of my own beautiful beads and findings, putting every cent I could back into building my stock. Very soon, my table top and bins were not enough to handle my growing inventory and orders – I needed more room! Our dining room was quickly dismantled, and shelves and a huge desk took over the space. It is now bursting at the seams, with bins and shelves covering every available space:)

I am so very lucky to have found Etsy, and be able to make a living doing what I love. Each and every box of gorgeous colorful beads is still oohed and awed over, just as much as the very first box of beads to arrive here. There is nothing I love more than to search my suppliers sites for beautiful new beads, and I'm continually looking for new and exciting things to share with you!

My little business is run completely by me – from purchasing, to photographing and listing, to packing up my little packages and sending them out into the world:) I'm lucky to have a very sweet man who is willing to run out at a moments notice if I run out of ink or whatever, and takes my bag of parcels to the post office every day for me. And of course, my two beautiful puppies are here to remind me when it is time to take a break and play in the backyard (and I can never say no to them:)

Returns and exchange details
If you are unhappy with your purchase for whatever reason, please contact me. If due to my error (descriptions incorrect or wrong item shipped), you can return for a full refund, including shipping. Returns are always accepted for any other reasons as well, if you notify me and return within 7 days of receipt. You will be responsible for shipping and associated costs incurred, only item purchase cost is refundable. Items must be returned in original condition. Orders over $100 are subject to a 10% (non-refundable) restocking fee.

If your package is damaged, please take photos both before and after opening. I will need these if an insurance claim needs to be filed.

If you decide to cancel your order prior to shipment, it's not a problem:) Contact me within 24 hours, and I will issue a refund for the full purchase price.

I'm often packing orders till the wee hours of the morning, much to the detriment of my eyesight:) On the very rare possibility that I have miscounted and shorted you – even only one bead – please let me know immediately, and I will send the shortage asap. No questions asked! I want you to be happy with your purchase!

Etsy payment system supports payment by various means.
Shipping
Current order processing time is 3 business days. Shipping cost includes a much reduced rate for additional items!

Order processing time starts when I receive payment notification of sale, and excludes weekends and holidays. I ship via Canada Post air mail to keep our (both yours and mine) costs to a minimum. The shipping charge includes not only the postage on your envelope, but also insurance, packaging (bubble envelope, bags, and other protective wrapping necessary), packing slip, etc.

Delivery can take an average one to two weeks within Canada, ten days to three weeks for US destinations, and four to six weeks for international destinations. These are estimates only, and can occasionally be longer during peak shipping periods, bad weather, and/or due to your Customs offices. If you would like expedited service, please contact me for cost.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you place more than one order, and would like them shipped together, please contact me by Etsy convo. I'm happy to do this for you (and refund the excess shipping), but I don't always notice this in time, and cannot guarantee this will be done if you do not let me know. Also, the ship date will be based on the most recent order, not the oldest.

My lovely Canadian customers please note. Due to various rules and regulations I must follow to stay in business, I am legally obligated to collect appropriate GST or HST based on your province.

International customers should be aware that their country's custom requirements may entail payment of duties and taxes upon receipt of your purchase. All costs associated with the import of products into your country are your responsibility. Please check with your own postal service/customs offices if you need information regarding these fees.

I do quite often have extra stock, but may not have had time to update my listings. If there is an item that does not show enough quantity for your needs, please contact me and I can check this for you:)

I love to hear from you! If you have any questions regarding my products, please feel free to contact me. It is best if you use the Etsy message system (convo) if you need to reach me for any reason. I rarely check the email address associated with my shop, and if you leave a note on the order, most times I will not see it until the ship date. A convo will get you an answer within hours as I am always here!:)
