Announcement   Welcome! bodega.of.plenty is undergoing a transitional phase during my move across the country. It will be slim for a while but I look forward to adding new inventory as I get settled in my new area!
If you'd like the latest and greatest on shop sales or giveaways like my facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bodegaofplenty/308434292526615

New Shop Policy: if your order totals $30 or more you will get a free bar of handmade soap. If your order is more than $100, you will get a sampler pack of three handmade soaps. If you'd like particular soaps in your package, request them during checkout.

***Please note, all my shipping prices are estimates. If I overcharge you, you'll receive a refund via paypal as soon as the item actually ships. Everything that is listed in my store is made and ready to ship. I ship quickly, usually next day, so you don't have to wait- please immediately convo me if you need any special accomodations or gift wrapping. I can and will ship internationally, but due to the rising costs of shipping the shipping charges must be estimated at time of sale. Please refer to policies for extra details.***

My custom sort arrangement is based loosely on color categories. If your looking for a specific item, use the top tool bar to search my store or you can use the shop sections on the left tool bar to get to one area of the shop.

*** All handmade items are constructed and stored in a smoke free environment. All items that are not made by me are clearly marked "vintage" before the listing title. ***

See something I made that you like but it's not in your color or size? Let me know- I am happy to take comissions and even if your not sure you want to comission a project, I will happily entertain all ideas and suggestions.

Sorry for the long-winded-ness but some things just seem necessary to note. Please refer to my profile and my shop policies for further information. Let me know what you think of my store and if you have any questions I can be reached via etsy or bodega_of_plenty(AT)live.com. Thanks for stopping in.

Welcome to the Bodega of Plenty. My bio includes more information, however, I can find enjoyment in just about everything. As my store takes shape, it will reflect these numerous interests. All my items are unique- whether it be handmade individually molded soaps, handknit or crochet accessories, or my vintage findings, each is a rare treasure. I started this store with the hopes of obtaining a very marginal income- one that allows me to continue to do what I truly love- create and learn new things. In addition to this, I hope to connect with other creators, be inspired, and inspire others. Again, welcome to my shop. I hope you enjoy it and if you have any feedback, questions, concerns, pointers, or otherwise- please contact me via etsy or email me at bodega_of_plenty [!at] live.com Thanks!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
Payment is due upon sale. With the new sales implementations by etsy, this has never been an issue for me- use whatever payment source you like. If you would like to reserve an item for later purchase don't hesitate to ask! I will happily reserve it for you, however, there will be a deadline before it re-enters the public market. For any reserve, you will be given 60 days to claim the item. Payment must clear before any items ship.
In addition, if the item is a commission, a deposit will be taken upon agreement. The amount will be 20 percent of the total price or the cost of materials, whichever is less. The deposit is non-refundable. Again, if a commissioned item is left unclaimed for more than 60 days without agreement between seller (me) and buyer the item will enter the public market.
Shipping
TIME: All items are ready for shipment unless otherwise noted. I generally ship within 3 business days of receiving an order, and often times, sooner than that. More often than not, I use USPS and the length of time it takes can vary seasonally. I send shipping notices via etsy as soon as I can. If you would rather they go directly to a personal email, just let me know.
UPGRADES: All orders over $50 are eligible for free upgrades. Though this depends on the actual volume of the order, this could include tracking and confirmation, insurance, priority rate or flat rate shipping. In any case, the details will be given within the shipping notification. If you would like any of these extras or priority shipping let me know.
INTERNATIONAL: I am happy to ship internationally- for these items it is necessary for me to do individual quotes. Due to the rising costs, frequently I must track down the best deal. If you are outside the US just let me know where and I will process the quote and place it in the shipping options so the item will be ready for purchase. Please let me know if you would also like to reserve the item regardless of shipping cost.
PACKAGING: I am not afraid to admit that I frequently use recylced or reused shipping and packaging. This is done for two reasons: out of my utmost admiration for our mother earth and to keep my shipping my charges as low as they can be.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS: Any shipping overcharges of more than $2 will be refunded. My shipping prices often reflect estimates, but are usually accurate or intentionally offered at a discount. Refunds, exchanges, and otherwise will be shipped at the cost of the customer and shipping cannot be refunded. (Please note my return policies below.)
If you have special accomodations regarding shipping- please email your request when you submit your order. I am happy to accomodate in any way possible- gift wrapping, specialty notes, combined or dividing shipping, whatever the case- just let me know.
Refunds and Exchanges
All items are listed as accurately as possible. Due to the fact that I list vintage items, some items will not be completely perfect and I do my best to note specifically. Unfortunately, in many cases it will not be possible to offer a replacement item(s) if it is damaged in shipping however I am optimistic about my packaging and make every effort to ensure it will be received as described.
Each case will be handled individually- please notify me immediately if there is any reason you are unsatisfied with your order. Though I do not promise to offer full refunds on breakables such as dishes, bakeware, glassware, or otherwise, I will work with you and your order. I do my best to offer a variety of options including store credit, partial refunds, discounts, and total refunds but it depends upon the items purchased and the scenario. I aim to please; just let me know!
Additional policies and FAQs
I happily accept commissions of all kinds. I will also gladly contribute to charitable and community organizations. I would love to expand this side of things- there's nothing better in the world to know that you are creating for some one who wants you to. if you know of a charitable, verifiable cause let me know, I am happy to contribute to any worthy cause.
If you ever see something in the shop you like but it's no longer listed or sold it's possible I can recreate it. If you ever see something that is the perfect style but the wrong color scheme- let me know. Want to work on a completely new concept? Sure! You get the point- I aim to please, and I am happy to work on any project with any interested individual. Refer to my payment policies above to get more information concerning deposits and reservation of commissioned items.
I do, however, reserve the right to reject any project. I am a one woman show- sometimes my time can be somewhat strained. I can not commit to a time frame for a project until I know the scope of the project. If for some reason, I can not estimate a time frame, I feel the scope of the project is out of my realm, or if I feel for any reason I can not do the project I will not accept the job. Simple as that.
