Hey, Bethany! I would “trust” that anyone purchasing an antique 100 year old necklace containing a 100 year old spring inside a 100 year old spring ring clasp would anticipate that the 100 year old clasp could fail at any given moment. I thoroughly inspected this necklace both at the time of listing this item and at the time of shipping this item. Thus, my forthright item description stating, “silver plating loss on chain, some small fleabites as well as a small chip at the very edge of one stone.” If the clasp was faulty and required immediate replacement while the necklace was still in my possession, I very well would have done so. Anyone with a pair of tweezers can replace a clasp. Clasps are available at any craft store, jeweler or online. But, thanks for never contacting me.

Thank you!:) Just an FYI . . . this ring is GENUINE STAINLESS STEEL as stated both in my listing title and item description. The exact same metal as the fork, spoon and knife you use to eat. If properly cared for, and not banged or crushed into something, the ring should last a lifetime!

Hi, Grace! Thank you for the kind review. Just an FYI . . . I verify all ring sizes on two different jewelers ring size mandrels before I ship. A jewelers ring mandrel is a measuring device, just like a ruler, made specifically to measure ring sizes. You may want to double-check your ring size with a jeweler. You may not be a dead on size 9.
