Amine has been so great - my address was showing an incorrect country, and he noticed it by remembering a conversation we have had previously, so he promptly asked me to review it before sending the parcel! Without this, I would have surely never received the rug in time to have a cosy living room for the holidays! Thanks so much! ps: Shipping to Germany and no extra duties to pay :)

Welcome to BohoZoo
BOHOZOO Co. was founded by Amine Mounir in Rabat, Morocco, in March 2017. BOHOZOO is the culmination of its founder's efforts to offer on the one hand the finest selection of à la mode, authentic and one-of-a-kind Moroccan artisanal work. On the other hand, BOHOZOO aims to empower women and their families in remote areas of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco by offering their artisanal work with fair prices to the international world.
The idea of BOHOZOO was developed during a backpacking trip through the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco where Amine was faced with the harsh and difficult living situation of many families who are trying to make their daily living by weaving beautiful, unique rugs and creating extraordinary high quality artisanal work. The idea of BOHOZOO advanced further as Amine travelled extensively to the Atlas Mountains to stay there multiple months to learn how the rugs are made from dreaming up the design to the final weaving of it.
Amine’s entrepreneurial spirit along with his passion for Moroccan ancestral handicraft savoir-faire and his determination to use business for social purposes and giving something back to the community led him to create the company. Amine continues to travel hundreds of kilometers across Morocco to curate the best rugs for you and your home.
A BOHOZOO rug is a unique piece of handwoven art and reflection of its weaver’s artistry and savoir-faire. Made from the purest and locally sourced materials, such as Atlas Mountain sheep wool, and crafted according to ancient, traditional weaving techniques, each is infused with a sense of history and designed in a language of unique simplicity. Moroccan rugs have long been fashionable and BOHOZOO offers pieces to match any style and home.
