A writer by heart, I began beading when I reached a point in writer's block for which there seemed no cure. I stopped writing and self-publishing to take a break and began to make bracelets as a way to occupy both my hands and my brain with things not related to words.

Well, it turned out I had a knack for designing unique pieces and sold a couple of dozen pieces in the first few months of my launch almost a year ago!

The old name of my business (writerofwordsjewelry) didn't spread much joy and love, to my customers or to myself, so I returned to my words and created Boldly Chic Boutique.

I design handmade jewelry with beads, healing crystals and accessories in my home office in the Greater Toronto Area. My collection is growing constantly, and I take an active interest in themed pieces. I make diffuser bracelets, necklaces with pendants, charms or healing crystals, and a variety of earrings. I also began creating some pouches for healing crystals, inspired by my brother's cancer diagnosis. A friend who tragically lost her son saw the pouch I created for my brother and asked me to make one for her rose quartz crystal and a new line of accessories was born into my business.

I live on a property filled with birch trees, which is why I am able to collect discarded birch bark and use it for a variety of decorative uses. Most recently during my tarot readings, I've written secret notes on birch bark during manifestation meditation for myself, or clients.
