About

Linda Carol loves to Create!

There's nothing I like more than spreading my creative wings and trying new styles and techniques and even mixing media.

One creative endeavors leads to another... stained glass to lampwork beads, beads to jewelry, have kiln, must fire right? So why not do some glass fusing and then take up pottery? Even better, combine all these interests into some cool multi media work It's a fun cycle, that leads me to interesting places, new passions and back to comfortable old favorites! Most of all I enjoy the journey!

Check back often to see what's new!

Thank you for pursuing my shop. My art brings much joy to my life. I enjoy creating and the zen-full feeling of being drawn into a project. I enjoy the travels down the creative path, it is always interesting to see what twist and turns that path may take and what kind of new projects will be inspired along the way.

I have worked in glass for many, many years, first in stained glass, later as a lampwork bead artist with a little fusing thrown in. After being encouraged by a potter friend I took her beginning wheel throwing class, and found I loved this medium as well, so here I am with my creative time split between two different, yet surprisingly similar media. Glass and ceramics are more alike than one might think, both being silica based, glass is actually a type of ceramic, and pottery glazes are actually glass! While I enjoy both mediums on their own, I find I am especially pleased when I find ways I can combine the two.
