New this week in my shop.
Autumn state fairs are wrapping up, but the memories live on on this photo.

About

bomography

It all started way back when I was about 6, and my parents entrusted me with the safeguarding of a Kodak Brownie on a family trip. And so it began. Click. Freeze the moment. I was hooked. When I was older, I cashed in our books full of Pinky stamps from Steinberg's grocery store, and got myself a Kodak Instamatic X-15, which I still use today. It was the first camera of my very own, and it went everywhere with me.

Things haven't changed much in that department, some 40 years later. In fact the cameras haven't changed much either. I shoot more film than digital, mostly on very old cameras, and will do so until I run out of road...or chemicals. The tactile pleasure of holding a processed strip of Provia 120 just can't be equalled in the digital world. The saturation of the colours is like candy.

We used to have to drive right past a venerable old amusement park to get home. The thundering of the towering wooden roller coaster on those hot summer nights, and screams of the riders still echo in my ears to this day. It also goes a long way towards explaining my fascination with the Kodachrome colours of carnivals.

Photography isn't just about documenting life, but is also about expressing dreams and memories.

And yet, there's still time left over for travel, biking, climbing, astronomy, woodworking, and of course, cooking.

Shop policies

Last updated on November 6, 2012
All my photos are printed locally at high-end commercial photo labs, except for prints on fine art paper, which are done in my studio.

Any photo in my shop can be produced at just about any size from 4x4 or 4x6, up to 50x50 or 50x60, so if you have something in mind, don't hesitate to ask.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept payment by PayPal.

Your prints will ship once the payment has gone through, with usually no more than a 4 business day delay for printing. Very large formats may take a bit longer, but I'll always let you know.
Should you have any issues at during checkout, please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll help you straighten things out.

If after 24 hours there has been no payment and no contact from you, the order will be cancelled.
Shipping
Unless you state otherwise, all orders will be shipped via Canada Post Air Mail to the address on the Paypal invoice.

Prints will usually ship within 4 business days, iPhone cases and pendants ship within 7 business days.

My shop is in CANADA.

Please keep in mind that all my shipments - unless otherwise arranged or specified in the listings - go by Canada Post First Class mail, and as such can take anywhere from a few days to 17 business days to reach their destinations in the USA, and up to 23 business days overseas.

If you have any questions about your order, or are concerned it's taking too long to reach you, please don't hesitate to contact me first!

I will always email you as soon as your order has shipped, and give you the tracking numbers, if applicable.

Most prints are shipped in a very thick, sturdy cardboard envelope, with larger prints shipped in double tubes/boxes.

Please allow up to 4 weeks for the worst-case scenario before considering a package lost.

Any duties or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will refund your payment (item purchase price only) or exchange your item if you are not 100% satisfied with your prints up to 2 weeks after you receive them.
You will be responsible for return shipping costs, and ensuring items are appropriately packed and returned in their original condition.

Please do keep in mind that every computer monitor displays colours a bit differently, so what you see on the screen could conceivably vary a little bit from the prints you receive. My studio monitors are professionally calibrated, and coordinated with my labs on a weekly basis to ensure the best possible results.
Additional policies and FAQs
I'm always happy to do custom orders, be it a different kind of paper, borders, wacky sizes, greeting cards, you name it. I also accept wholesale offers.
