About

EPILITH JEWELRY

epilith (plural epiliths)

A plant, fungus, or other organism that grows upon rock.

Epilith Jewelry is a one-woman business owned and operated by Katie Boyles. Katie graduated San Francisco State University with a BA emphasis in Printmaking and minor in Ceramics. Interest in creating jewelry stemmed from her time spent in natural spaces collecting specimens and wanting to turn the gathered items into wearable art. The techniques she acquired in metalsmithing bridged the gap and allowed delicate pieces to be preserved and carried.

The collections from Epilith serve to respect the natural world and are personal talismans of our connection to the Earth.

Epilith Jewelry was known formerly as Bones&Things.
