This is such a beautiful, well crafted necklace. I wear it often, especially when I need a little of the peacefulness of the forest. Will definitely purchase from this shop again.

About

bones&things

Bones&Things started as this shop, for emerging jewelry design. However, the idea carries on the theme for all of my work. I use bone and teeth, as well as other organic materials, in jewelry design and as the predominant subject for my artwork. The contours, the texture, the subtle hues of natural materials all relate to my work in a spectrum from the acute to the whole. Bones (and things) are a persistent inspiration for their intrapersonal relationships to identity, mortality and visceral desires.

After a summer at the Rhode Island School of Design for painting and photography, I graduated San Francisco State University with a BA emphasis in Printmaking and minor in Ceramics. Printmaking techniques include monotype, lithography, intaglio, and relief printing.

My love of the natural world sinks deeply into my artwork and crafts. Every organic object has either been found by me in the wild or traded/purchased from a decent resource; the health of animals is very important to me. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me!l
