During my childhood years on our family farm, I would spend hours in the great outdoors herding cows and working in our orchards. During that time, I would dream up all sorts of stories in my head, but I did not get around to putting them on paper until about four decades later. When authoring my books, I not only draw upon my innumerable childhood memories, but those experiences that I gleaned as the manager of a National Horse Breed Registry and law firm, a legal secretary, and accounting services professional. One of my favorite parts of being an author is reading my book titled The Christmas Tin in the public schools and libraries. It keeps me young at heart and helps me to enjoy the holiday season at the same time. Speaking at Womens' and Writers' Conferences is another one of my favorite activities. It affords me the opportunity to be an encourager with a sense of humor.

During the summer of 2015, I joined with three Idaho Authors to form Idaho Creative Authors Network to help published and non-published authors fulfill their writing dreams. I opened my Etsy shop so I could personally autograph books for people who desire to purchase them. Books can take us many places in our hearts, minds, souls, and spirits. To that end, my daily motto continues to be, Read On & Write On!
