Michael is retired Air Force and Dawn taught 1st and 2nd grade for over 20 years. After retiring from the military we purchased the farm Dawn was born and raised on in north central Minnesota with the hopes of finding a simpler lifestyle to raise our son. With a great deal of faith and prayer we began working the land and found our passion. Our gardens grew, our fruit trees grew, our son grew. All were happy, healthy and wholesome.

We started out with simple vegetables grown for our local farmer's market and that expanded into homemade jams and jellies, herbal products and crafts. In the last couple of years we have also branched out into making over 15 flavors of coarse ground artisan mustard. We found out that our neighbors were looking for good, fresh foods - grown without chemicals and pesticides. As we met the needs of those around us with honesty and fairness, we found our product was in great demand.

We are personally involved in every step of our jelly and herb production. We till the soil, plant the crop, weed our gardens, and harvest our bounty. Our goal is always to provide a product that we would proudly serve on our table, to our friends and family.

All our fruits and berries are grown without chemicals or pesticides and are picked at the peak of ripeness so the flavor is at it's best. Our jams and jellies are made with only a few key ingredients so you won't have any problems trying to figure out what you are eating. Our jams , jellies and fruit syrups are gluten free and contain no artificial chemicals and preservatives. Our basic recipes will contain loads of sun ripened fruit, sugar and gluten free apple pectin.

Our herbs are also grown without the use of chemicals and pesticides. When we do have to purchase herb ingredients we work with companies that have the same standards as we do ourselves. We pick our herbs when the flavor is at it's most intense and use them to make delicious herbal dips and seasonings and (my personal favorite) herbal teas.

We are in compliance with state and federal laws when it comes to our jelly, mustard and herb product production. We have been certified and licensed by the state of Minnesota and we do our best to follow all safety procedures.
