I have recently introduced a whole new line of products called
Booties in a Box™.
I wanted to come up with a way for people to give a baby gift, announce their pregnancy or baby gender reveal in a fun way. Booties in a Box™ is a way for me to combine my love of crochet with my love of thinking outside of the box or in this case in the box!

I am proud to announce that I have had my chunky crochet blanket featured in Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine, February 2012 issue. It was an honor to have my blanket chosen for Reliable Coverage in the editors Good Moms A-List.

I was taught how to crochet about 28 years ago by a friend who made the most beautiful lace. I crocheted baby blankets for my 3 children and as gifts for family and friends. Life got busy with three children and crocheting got put to the side.

About 5 years ago I picked the hook back up. I knew I had reconnected with my creative passion. I love using colors, yarns and designs that add a modern twist to my crochet.

My favorite part of the day comes when I now get to sit in my favorite chair in my "shop" and crochet while at my side is my faithful companion, Jimmy the Human Poodle. Occasionally, my husband will poke his head in the door and if I don't answer when he is talking to me he knows that I am probably counting stitches and not being rude.
