5 out of 5 starsSeems easy enough to follow. Haven't knitted it up yet, but will try to follow up this review once I complete one.

About BostonBeanies
Librarian by day, Mad Hatter by night
When I was in grad school, I was working three jobs and going to school at night. Let's just say that library school is not as fascinating as it sounds. I mean, I LOVE being a librarian, I had been working in libraries since I was fifteen so the choice to get my degree in Library Science was not a hard one. But I was impatient, and tired. So to stay awake during my evening classes my mom taught me how to knit. On the T, I had my discman (yeah, I'm old) and my knitting and my backpack. I stayed awake during classes knitting scarf after scarf after scarf.
My friends and family loved their scarves, but no so much the seconds or thirds. Then my friends started having babies, and I made my first baby hat. It was a hit at the shower and people told me I should sell them, and Boston Beanies was born. It took a while to learn what styles were popular, how to price and photograph my hats, and how to run a business.
But I love knitting, teaching kids how to knit, and selling my hats. I ship all over the world and it's fun to think of little babies in other countries wearing a Boston Beanie!
