Fauna + machine + earthly relic energy + the artist's vision = pure satisfaction. A certain precise rendering. I love the background 'shadow' images, overall composition, and the placement and soft harmony of these prints. These steampunk fossil prints bring to mind of old sci-fi, the Cold War and robot culture, the Twilight Zone show I watched as a kid in the 80s, and the fun I had with microscopes, pre-college biology courses. I should dust off that old microscope and do some investigations.

A real gem for my butterfly collection. Fauna + machine + ancient mystery + the artist's vision = a pleasing purchase. I just need to find the right frame. I wish that this were an original and not a print, as the dimensionality of material texture were part of why I wanted to own this item. But of course prints are more affordable and practical for the budget. The artist is very polite, and he was responsive, despite being away when I placed the order.
