Eco-friendly accessories for your every day needs.

I was looking into a way I could make a bit of money without sending the kids to daycare when I tripped on my sewing machine...
Then I thought: why not?! So Cul de Sac was born somewhere in 2011.

Turning to thrift shops for supplies came naturally as i was doing volunteer work there and saw how much clothing and accessories were donated to these kind of places... and saw also that a good quantity of it was thrown away...

I started to reuse old unsalable bed sheets as interlining along with interfacing for a nice underlaying structure for bags while keeping the lining all fresh and unwrinkled.
Then came the men's suit pants... and neckties and shirts! I mean, good quality fabric clothing had to be used again in some other ways! and one thing leading to another, I started reclaiming the zippers from those pants to use in my bags and cosmetic cases, and belt as straps and....
And the good thing is, the money I donate for used clothing and unwanted goods is use for local charity!

Having an eco-friendly business and being able to help local charities really fulfill me, being the true INFJ I am.

Cul de Sac, meaning dead end in french, is a good name for my products as I try to use as much upcycled and reclaimed materials as possible so it doesn't end up in landfills.
All of my products are made using reclaimed or upcycled materials.

The bags, pouches and cases are made using only upcycled fabrics and sometimes with reclaimed hardware. I take great care when making my bags so I can offer a very high quality bag.

All items are made in a cat friendly house.
