About

We make items that make your life better!

Like so many other WAHM-owned businesses, Boulevard Designs started because I wanted to stay home with my kids. When my first was born, I had been under the impression that my employer would allow me to work from home - there was nothing about my job that required that I be physically present 5 days a week - but we found out at the last minute that they had no intention of allowing that. So I turned what had been a casual hobby into a thriving business. My main business is Wallypop, which is a regular online store. When I decided to open a shop on Etsy, I originally wanted an outlet for all of the "non-Wallypop" items I wanted to make. Wallypop was heavily focused on cloth diapers and baby carriers, but I also still enjoyed making things like tote bags, housewares, and many other non-baby items. After my youngest was born with kidney failure, we started making for others all the fun, helpful items I was designing for our own use. Boulevard Designs has changed focus over the years, to now offering mainly babywearing-related items and special-needs items, but I think we've just gotten better and better!
