Slightly custom on my order for this. I had screwed up on my end with the shipping, but I worked with Sarah on correcting it. She was very easy to work with and we got it re-routed in shipping. It showed up in great condition, exactly as ordered, and I love it!

About

Fun Hobby Turned Business

I started making chainmaille at the start of 2010 as a side project. I wanted a hobby to help occupy my time outside of work - I felt like I was spending too much time not being constructive, and I decided that chainmaille was a great answer to that. I got the chance to work with my hands and produce something pretty. Initially it started as something to do with my time that would result in me making pieces that I could wear. That quickly spiraled out of control!

Soon I was making a ton of different items as I tried different weaves and styles, and then I decided to add in color and my imagination took off. I had heard of this website called "Etsy", and I thought, "Yeah, I could totally sell the pieces that I've made just so I can earn enough to buy more supplies and keep feeding this crazy addiction." The rest, as they say, is history.

I realized that I could share this newfound passion with others, and the people who purchased my items seemed incredibly happy with what I had made. It made me feel wonderful to get such great reviews, and all I could think about was bringing this to more people, and dedicating myself to making fine quality, but inexpensive pieces that anyone could afford to own. The success I've had has led me to be able to experiment more and more with my work. I'm currently doing a lot of micromaille work, which is fun and challenging in its own ways.
