I literally gasped when I pulled this beauty out of the box. The texture and colors are fantastic. It is so much more beautiful than the photos show. I love it! Great work, Melissa!

I adore this painting! I had Melissa frame it and it is absolutely perfect. The texture in her brush strokes and use of color truly make my heart sing. Thank you for your beautiful work!

I can't say enough how wonderful it was to work with Boutique419. She went above and beyond to help me with the customer artwork. On top of her friendly customer service, her painting is beautiful. I highly recommend her to anyone.

a grateful painter.

I am a God taught artist, living by faith every single day. I started painting after an encounter with a mural on a wall that captured my attention . God simply asked me to start painting that day. So February 12, 2012 I bought some paint and some canvas and set out on the most terrifying and exciting journey of my life. I had no idea what to paint or what I was even doing but shortly after I started, I began to feel a sense of awakening that I have never felt before. I started to feel alive again after many years spent covered in anxiety and depression, paired with feelings of no purpose and of no hope.

I love to paint ocean scenes, boats and flowers. Typically I tend to paint more based on a feeling or an emotion instead of setting out to paint a specific object. I want you to feel something and your soul to be moved. Being a new artist, I am always exploring new scopes of work, new subject matter, and I love that each day brings a new opportunity to discover and draw out new inspiration and talent within myself. I believe that life itself is art and my canvas is just the vehicle I use to express it. I love exploring new techniques and mediums and my inspiration is usually a beautiful photograph or a song that stirs my soul.

My desire is to leave you feeling a sense of peace and assurance that life is beautiful, even the broken parts, and that you are loved. That is how I feel when I look at a beautiful, vast ocean or a bouquet of flowers or anything else our amazing God has created. I pray my art is a tangible example that we were all created for something. It is my hearts desire that everyone who encounters my art would realize they are not too broken to be fixed, never too lost to be found, and not too small to be used.

I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and my heart will always be in that city. I am a military wife, proudly supporting my husband who is a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. We have two beautiful daughters and live a very crazy life. We move all the time, usually about every 2- 3 years. Most days you can find me in my home studio (my kitchen) painting away while my girls are at school, or while Im helping with homework or cooking dinner. I feel blessed to be able to stay home with them while they are small and have my work inside my home. They also love to paint alongside of me which brings me much joy!

At least 10% of all sales off the top goes to support missions at my home church and to organizations such as Mission Feeding Life Outreach International, Mercy Ships, and Help One Now.

Hey listen...if for some reason you don't like it or the colors aren't what you saw on your monitor or you just aren't happy, send it back. I will give you 7 days from when UPS lets me know that you have received it! The only thing I ask is that you ship it back to me respectfully and using high quality materials and pay for shipping yourself. Once I receive the painting(s) I will issue you a refund minus the shipping costs for originally shipping the painting.

I do not offer refunds for custom paintings.

I will take one million photos for you to approve the painting before I ship it. And I am always up for changing and fixing things so your heart and eyes are happy before I send it off to you! I have a high quality DSLR camera and I try to take photos in the best natural sunlight in late morning or early afternoon.
I ship using UPS ground.

Once your order is completed and your painting has been shipped out, you will be emailed a tracking number to the email address that you have provided on your invoice.

Please notify me if your art has been damaged during shipping so we can resolve the issue promptly. You will need to contact UPS directly as well and use the tracking number I have provided you.

Typical shipping times are anywhere from 2-5 days from my door to yours, if you are purchasing a ready to ship item.
