Box Alarm Leather, LLC was established in 2008 by Mary and Andrew Arnold. Andrew is a firefighter in an urban east coast department and Mary has put up with him for a long time.
For years, Box Alarm Leather was well known in the fire service for high quality custom leather accessories for firefighters. Then cancer struck Mary and they decided to close the doors as orders began to pile up and wait times for customers became insanely long. Fast forward 5 years and Mary is cancer free! During those years, Andrew began mentoring with Mike Manuel of Royce Shields in a leather production factory. Andrew has learned how to hand craft leather using production skills and techniques as well as production machinery. Instead of being able to make 3 or 4 custom radio straps a day, for example, BAL can turn out 30-40 per day! Our ultimate goal is to ship your item within 5 business days of receiving your order.
