5 out of 5 starsThe pieces have a great weight and seem like solid metal. The engraving looks beautiful and we're so happy to have them for our upcoming wedding.

4 out of 5 starsThe etching design on the mug is fantastic! The elk looks better than any other etched design I could find online. However, I reduced my rating by one star because the glass mug appears to be of low quality. The seams in the glass are obvious and create small ridges that are not flush. Furthermore, the handle is not nearly as comfortable as the other glass beer mug we have and does not have the nice thumb grip like is pictured in the seller's photos.

About Brad Goodell Weddings
After 20 years of working as a commercial artist and illustrator, I transferred my skills to glass engraving. Starting with architectural glass, I etched, engraved, and carved custom-designed doors, windows and cabinets for homes. Friends started asking for smaller pieces, vases and wine glasses, to commemorate special occasions. From there, a business of specialty glass and crystal evolved.
All my art starts with an idea which is sketched on paper. When I've captured the design on paper, I recreated it in the computer. A vinyl cutter or laser is used to cut the resist. Then the rest of the glass is taped off to avoid damage, and a sandblaster filled with a very fine aggregate is used to engrave the design.
Why a sandblaster? Sandblasting offers a deeper, crisper engraving than you get from laser engraving or acid etching. It's engraving you can see and feel, and has wonderful light-catching qualities. It creates depth and texture that is unmatched by other forms of engraving.
