This was a "just because" gift to my husband, and he loves it! The craftsmanship is outstanding and the quality is great. He uses this chilled most of the time, not just for beer. He gets so much use out of it. Great packaging to make sure it arrived safely too!

The Wedding Gallery by Brad Goodell
After 20 years of working as a commercial artist and illustrator, I transferred my skills to glass engraving. Starting with architectural glass, I etched, engraved, and carved custom-designed doors, windows and cabinets for homes. Friends started asking for smaller pieces, vases and wine glasses, to commemorate special occasions. From there, a business of specialty glass and crystal evolved.
All my art starts with an idea which is sketched on paper. When I've captured the design on paper, I recreated it in the computer. A vinyl cutter or laser is used to to cut the resist. Then the rest of the glass is taped off to avoid damage, and a sand blaster filled with a very fine aggregate is used to engrave the design.
Why a sand blaster? Sand blasting offers a deeper, crisper engraving than you get from laser engraving or acid etching. It's engraving you can see and feel, and has wonderful light-catching qualities. It creates depth and texture that is unmatched by other forms of engraving.
I've been a working artist for over twenty years. When I'm not engraving on glass and crystal, I'm painting murals in and around SW Colorado.
