branchbound's Shop Announcement

It's with a heavy heart that I announce that the retail side of Branchbound (a.k.a. my Etsy store) will be on an indefinite, possibly permanent, hiatus. The last day I will be taking orders is Sunday, August 9th.
I will still be selling on Etsy Wholesale for the time being, and boutiques will still carry my work that I will restock as long as it continues to sell well.
If you wanted to place an order for anything, especially custom, I would suggest you do so now, as I may not be able to offer this again in the future. I will respond to messages for custom requests promptly.

Welcome to my handmade jewelry shop! I love to play with new and vintage materials, particularly different kinds of lace that I sometimes hand dye. I also use brass, gold, or silver charms and vintage beads in my work. I love mixing new and old, soft and hard, to make a variety of avant garde yet wearable one-of-a-kind jewelry.

Payment

I require payment received in full at checkout. I accept Paypal and credit cards through Etsy.

Shipping

I have listed prices for combining shipping. I ship all over the world, prices are as listed. I ship everything First Class Mail unless you upgrade to priority shipping. I ship via your Etsy mailing address, so please make sure your address is correct or email me immediately if it's not, otherwise I cannot be responsible for the parcel going to the wrong address. Etsy will email you when your order has shipped with a tracking number if you are in the U.S.

Occasionally international orders get held up in customs, unfortunately there is no way I can tell how long this will take or track it once it is out of my hands. International customers are responsible for all customs fees. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please use an address that you know is secure for receiving mail or contact me if you need insurance or signature confirmation.

I try to get things out as quickly as possible, but keep in mind that many of these pieces are made to order and I also work a 40 hour a week day job that I commute to and from every day. I'm one person doing all this work, but I still try my best to get things out to you in a timely manner.

If you need something by a certain date please let me know. If you need something by a certain date PLEASE upgrade to priority shipping WHEN you checkout or message me asking if it's possible before you pay. Otherwise I have to contact you to invoice you for the rest of the shipping charge which further delays your order.

Refunds and Exchanges

No refunds or exchanges unless item has been grossly misrepresented, so read and measure carefully. Because of the fragile nature of lace jewelry, as well as issues of sterilization with ear findings, I cannot accept returns.

In the rare instance I do accept an exchange you must pay for return shipping as well as shipping for me sending the exchange item out to you, unless it was 100% an error on my part.

Additional Policies and FAQs

All jewelry items come wrapped in a gift box whose size best suits each piece, hand written notes available upon request if it's a gift.

Need a longer or shorter chain? Want something in a different colour? Fewer charms? More? Pieces for your whole wedding party? I will be more than happy to work with you on a custom piece, or even a simple tweak. Just convo me! Please allow up to a week for custom-dyed pieces.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: As with all jewelry, please handle this piece with care and keep separate from other jewelry. The dye will not run if it comes into contact with water but you should avoid getting it wet as it will lose its stiffness.

I do put items on reserve, however I will only reserve them for 48 hours. After that I require purchase with payment or the reserve is removed.
