Lucky girl

After university and a few years of aimless wandering I decided it might just be time to figure out what direction I'd like to take my life. My hubby to be was going for his education degree and I knew I wanted to further my education. I loved the idea of something practical and hands on. Knowing very little about either, I had it narrowed down to auto mechanics and pottery.
Thank goodness pottery won out!
I graduated from a studio pottery program at NBCCD in 2004 and have been at it (in varying degrees) ever since.
I feel pretty darn lucky to be doing just what I love in this life. When I head down to the studio its with a big goofy grin and a happy heart. I love to think that even a wee bit of these sentiments are transferred to the user. I want my pots to be functional work-horses but also bring a bit of beauty and joy to everyday life.
