About

BEADING BEADING BEADING

Hi there. Brap Allgood here. I have Crohn's Disease and limited options for mobility in life now. One way I deal with it is by beading, beading, and then more beading. :)

In 2001, I was staying in ArmPit, Texas and got sooo bored, I started beading, something utterly unlike me at the time. I then had an idea so powerful that I am still having it and don't expect to ever stop: The Braplet.

I then proceeded to have my idea in a new way for 10 years straight, never repeating myself exactly in each new design. This made each one a little work of art all on its own, the only one like it in the world. Hard to sell, that. :) SO now I repeat the winningestest of the designs, as they come to mind again.

The hematite is a story all in itself. I'll try and collect my best stories somewhere and link them here eventually.

Please, oh please, help me eat and stay sheltered. :) I am really good at what I do, affirmed over and over by the thousands of people I got to meet as I decorated them in Big Sur years ago. What I do is as much tactile as it is visual. Very fun. Try me and experience a braplet for yourself....

I have a habit, called beading. I sell them so I can make more. My goal is to decorate as many wrists as I can, around the world. I have hit hundreds already, if not thousands. My health doesn't let me get out to the paradise anymore, so I want to see if I can drum up a living from home. That's the longish short of it. :)
