The reason behind JM Bridal:
I originally started JM Bridal by Jacqueline Michelle as a hobby with hopes of eventually turning it into a full blown business that would be able to travel with me every time I have to move. You see, we are a US Navy family. Every 2-4 years we are up for new orders, which means we are up for a new city, state, or even country! As a Navy wife and mother to a 7 year old boy, and 6 month old daughter, I not only be needed a portable career, but a flexible one as well.

When it all started & what the goals are:
The shop opened it's virtual doors in July of 2013, and quickly started blossoming into more than I had imagined. The goal for the shop is to be doing well enough in 2015 for me to quit my evening job as a server, and work in my online stores (you may also find me on etsy at www.thesweetlilrebel.com) full time while being able to spend more time at home with my babies. I'm not quite able to quit my day job just yet, but I feel it's within reach for 2015!

Why a bridal shop?
When I got married the first time (yes, I was one of the few unfortunates) I had my wedding dress & veil custom made. I was in heaven! I designed everything exactly as I wanted it, and could not have been happier! Well... my wedding day came, and my dress was too short, the front was all bunchy in the stomach where it was supposed to be flat, and the seamstress hadn't pressed it. Needless to say, I was not a very happy bride, but I made do. Since that day, I have pretty much had a passion for creating, in my eyes, perfect bridal headpieces that are not only worth their money, but something I would wear with pride myself. I feel a duty to all the brides out there to create beautiful items that they are proud to wear on their wedding day.

How the store operates:
JM Bridal is managed, run, and operated by one single person; me. :-) I have poured my time, energy, and creativity into this shop from creating the logo, product development, photos (with a bit of extra help from some fantastic photographers & customers), managing the online shops, the books, filling the orders, packaging, shipping, and honestly the list could go on, but you get the idea. Each and every piece of merchandise that comes out of this shop has been handcrafted, and truly made with love by myself before it is shipped directly to your mailbox.
