Announcement   ❤ Our shop will be on vacation from July 29-August 7 and on limited inventory until August 21, while we take some time for family fun, river cabin holiday'ing, rest, renewal, and the incubation of new art and ideas. ❤

We delight in creating beautiful goddess art as special gifts for you and your loved ones.

We are happy to ship all over the world. Postal rates have recently gone up dramatically for international orders and unfortunately are now reflected in our shipping charges. We are happy to refund any shipping overcharges as we navigate the new rates, but in general it now costs a minimum of $9 to mail anything (even a quite small package) overseas from our home in the US. The calculated shipping feature also struggles to combine shipping on orders, so if you see a high total shipping for multiple items, we will also refund that excess.

Items are handcrafted when you order. We cannot absolutely promise a specific delivery day, since it is in the hands of the postal service once it leaves our hands, but we do our best to ship items within 2-3 days of order dates.

Brigid’s Grove is your source for goddess art, ceremony resources, crone wisdom, priestess jewelry, priestess resources, blessingway gifts, red tent resources, blessing bundles, birth art, altar sculptures, goddess jewelry, ritual kits and supplies, birth altar figurines, priestess robes, earth-based cycle celebration, priestess education and adornment, and publications and workshops for intentional, creative, spiritual living.

We help you celebrate lifecycle transitions and pivotal moments through art and ceremony. We use visual, artistic expression as a means of story-telling and experience-sharing. We create art and ceremony in order to “tell about it.”

Molly and Mark co-create original goddess art, birth art, jewelry, figurines, goddess pendants, and priestess jewelry. Molly sculpts the original designs and Mark molds and casts the sculptures in resin and in lead-free pewter. We also have a line of ceremony and ritual kits and Red Tent resources as well as mother blessing charms, first moon bundle, crone gifts, and miscarriage memorial items. Brigid's Grove integrates Molly's priestess work with our family's shared interests in gemstones, pewter casting, and nature.

Brigid is the Irish triple goddess of smithcraft, poetry, and midwifery. She is also a Christian saint associated with midwives, birthing mothers, and infants. We chose our shop name based on how beautifully Brigid represents the interests and skills of our whole family.

Brigid's Grove is a partnership between husband and wife team, Molly and Mark. We've been happily married since 1998 and have four energetic children. Molly has a lifelong interest in women’s issues and women’s empowerment. With time, that passion came to focus on birth and breastfeeding and then continued to evolve into a commitment to the entire spectrum of Women’s Mysteries throughout the seasons of a woman’s life. While Molly created birth art during each of her pregnancies, with their third child she began making a series of polymer clay birth art goddesses to express and explore her feelings during the childbearing year. After 15 years of professional work in Computer Information Systems and ten years of metal-working as a hobby, Mark took the leap into self-employment to join the rest of his family in our home-based life in the woods of central Missouri. He expanded his interest in metalwork into pewter casting and together we began translating Molly's goddess sculptures into an original series of resin sculptures and pewter pendants. At Brigid's Grove, we create original goddess sculptures, publish Womanrunes book and card sets, and offer online priestess and red tent facilitator trainings through our Creative Spirit Circle.

Why Brigid?

Brigid is the Irish triple goddess of smithcraft/metalwork, poetry, and midwifery. She is also a Christian saint associated with midwives, birthing mothers, and infants. We chose our shop name based on how beautifully Brigid represents the interests and skills of our whole family.

Shipping
We ship from Missouri in the United States. We cannot absolutely promise a specific delivery day, since it is in the hands of the postal service once it leaves our hands, but we do our best to ship items within two days of order dates (3-5 days for larger orders. Items are made by hand when you order). Most domestic orders will arrive within 3-5 days after shipping.

International Order Specifics

We welcome international customers and are pleased to ship worldwide! Please note that we ship from Missouri, USA. If you are in a non-US country, please be aware that shipping times can take up to four weeks. Once the item leaves our hands (2-3 days post-order), the shipping time is out of our control. Most international orders are received well within two weeks, but occasionally it takes a full four weeks before the postal service gets your order to your country.

Postal rates have recently gone up dramatically for international orders and unfortunately are now reflected in our shipping charges. We are happy to refund any shipping overcharges as we navigate the new rates, but in general it now costs a minimum of $9 and as much as $20 to mail anything (even a quite small package) overseas from our home in the US.

Your order details will include a tracking number, which just can be tracked within the U.S. and then with your national carrier. Do not be concerned if your package appears "stalled" in Chicago, this simply means this is where and when the package has left the US. After it enters your own country, the tracking will register again.

In rare cases, shipping may take longer because the package is held by customs which we have no control over. If you believe the package should have arrived and it has not, please check first with your local customs office to see if it is being held there.

For all customers: our pewter pendants are hand-finished to order, so please expect a processing time of between 1-4 days. If you need a pewter quantity larger than five, please contact us and we will arrange a custom listing for you.
Additional policies and FAQs
Our pewter is lead-free and US made. We buy the ingots we use for our original pendant casting from a small family recycling company in the US.

A quick note on keeping your pewter jewelry shiny: Mark hand finishes and polishes each of our pewter pendants by hand. After wearing for a while, especially if they are immersed in water (like being showered in), the pewter tends to become duller and darker. This is easily solved by just rubbing the pendant with a soft cloth, towel, cloth napkin, or even just the hem of the shirt you are wearing! They brighten right up with just that simple buffing.

Wholesale Offerings and Policies:

Wholesale pricing is available on our handmade pendants, resin sculptures, and books. Other items in our shop, such as rings, priestess robes, and kits, are not available for wholesale pricing or are only available for a single price point discount. Items may be mixed and matched to receive the following quantity discounts:

10-19 items: 20% off retail
20-29 items: 25% off retail
30-39 items: 35% off retail
40+ items: 40% off retail

Terms:

We are a small two-person shop and each of our items is handmade. Please be aware that we will need approximately two weeks notice to fully fulfill wholesale order requests. For your discount-specific quantity needs and associated custom Etsy listing, please email us directly at brigidsgrove [!at] gmail.com or message us via Etsy. Wholesale orders will be fulfilled via reserved Etsy listings, not conducted off site.

Selling items purchased at a quantity discount are approved for resale face-to-face in booths, at events, or in physical shops.

United States customers: No re-selling of quantity items permitted in your own Etsy shop and we request that we receive notice and approve other proposed online sales venues (such as ebay or your own website/online store).

International customers wishing to resale items in their own online shops are welcome to do so.

Donations:

From the requests we receive for donations, we choose one nonprofit organization per month for a donation of items from our shop.

If you are a for-profit business or organization, please do not request donations to give away at your events, classes, or workshops. We enjoy networking with other small businesses (particularly birth-related businesses!) in a mutually beneficial way, but please keep in mind that asking for free, handmade items to put into gift bags for your clients is not a fair energy exchange. We are a small two-person business, not a corporate enterprise and we ask you to value our time and our handcrafting energy accordingly.
