Beautiful, bright friendship bracelets and other handmade goods
I started making bracelets when I was ten. Me and my other cousins spent summers at our grandparent's house because of it's big yard, swimming pool and closeness to the beach. Our parents would buy us crafting supplies and books to keep us busy and I was immediately drawn to the intricacy and beauty of these simple little bands people tie around their wrists. From that day, every summer I would have a rather large pile of bracelets made to be sold in school the following semester. When I was in college I continued to sell bracelets to the people I took classes with, it made me take to making bracelets almost daily. Etsy seemed like the most logical transition after selling that and it has proven to be time and time again. It has been a good four years, hundreds of orders and almost 1000 bracelets made so far. An achievement I would have never foreseen.
Last year I graduated college with a bachelor's degree in drawing. Recently, I decided to sell some of my smaller paintings and a few limited prints of my favorite drawings. My constant experiments with new media and new techniques lead me to create new things. I've introduced a number of hand painted plastic brooches that showcase my love for color, delicacy and organic shapes. I'm glad to have a small community of people that can appreciate handmade and are excited to see what I make.
