5 out of 5 starsNina's light boxes are just amazing! I sent some of my own pics and she even changed the shape (landscape) so the lamps would work better!
They're not easy to read by as the light is so ambient but I can read if I put the lamp behind me (e.g on the headboard - I have a wooden bed with wide ledge/shelf).
Would also look amazing in bookcase and hoping to have some built next year and when I do I will be back ordering with Nina!!
She is also really nice and so great at correspondence! -

Wooden lightboxes are some a cute addition to a little one's bedroom!
I woke up one morning with the luminous idea to add a back lighting system to my favourite photographs and Bristol In A Box was born:)
My name is Nina Allwood and I live in Bristol, a gorgeous city in the South-West of England that I have called home since leaving my home town of Paris for a new adventure back in 2010.
I have been taking hundreds photographs of Bristol's beautiful streets and countryside for my blog Lifestyle District and sold many of them as prints until one day I thought they would look great as lightboxes to be enjoyed in a darker light.
I'm not a woodworker so learning how to build the lightboxes has not been without its challenges but it was definitely worth the pain as I've received tremendous feedback on my lightboxes at markets and fairs.
Each of of them is unique, and hand-built with love in the little workshop corner of my flat!
