I am a stay-at-home mom to five little ones, and some of the days are more difficult than others...but a good kind of difficult. Difficult in the sense of being opened to a vulnerability of love that can at times be heavy. I've found that if I truly seek to see the beauty in the every day, it is often easy to find.

A part of that beauty that surrounds my family is life on the open range, raising cattle and taking care of the land. It isn't a life for everyone. Yet, I believe there are those who long for the freedom that comes with knowing we are taking the land, cultivating it and its animals, and helping to feed the world...even if just a tiny population.

From that perspective, beauty flows, and I try to capture it...in the eyes of the animals, in the rising and setting of the sun, and even in what appears very ordinary at first look. I simply try to capture the beauty already created.

I pray to see His vision...His beauty...in my surroundings, and my hope is that you can take a piece of this beauty to your home, too, via one of these photographs.
