Frequently asked questions
I ordered a custom portrait; how do I get you the reference photos?
Send me a message with your attached files via the Etsy messenger or to my email at BrittneyAnnArt@gmail.com. Feel free to send over as many as you'd like!
I sent you a message but it's been awhile and I haven't heard anything back.
I normally don't work on weekends and thus will get back to you as soon as I'm able the following week. If it's been a while and the weekend has passed, feel free to send me another message!
Sometimes my health issues act up leaving me to deal with some major brain fog and other issues. Messages can get buried in my inbox or it's possible that I don't even see them if I'm in the middle of a flair up. If this happens, I apologize for the inconvenience. Please don't be shy about messaging me again!
How many characters can I fit into one portrait?
I generally put 4-6 characters all on one page. However, scenarios with more are possible as well. Send me a message to chat about what you're thinking!
How long is the wait list for Pet Portraits and other custom work?
Wait time varies. Pet Portraits are currently booked out about 10 weeks from now. For a more specific estimate, feel free to message me.
What are your office hours?
Generally Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Do you draw other animals besides just dogs and cats?
Absolutely! While dogs and cats are the subjects I get the most commissions for, I will gladly draw any other pet that you might have. So far I have done birds, chickens, guinea pigs, ferrets, and even a monkey!
If I want more than one of my pets in one portrait, do I need to send a photo of them all together?
Nope! While having a photo of them together is helpful for size comparison, it's not needed. I usually work from multiple photos to form my composition.
Custom and personalized orders
As the artist, I have the right to refuse any custom order request that I cannot complete, do not feel comfortable with, goes against my beliefs or morals, or any other reason. Thank you for understanding!
