Looks exactly like the photos! The colours are nice and vibrant and the stones are subtle, which is perfect. The balance is good, the brooch is quite flat and the pin is attached near the top, so it doesn't flop around awkwardly or look like it's falling over when actually pinned to something. All in all, I'm happy :)

On a recent ‘hunt’ in Tongeren (Belgium), these were the brooches I found! Which one is your favourite?
At the music festival Lowlands I had a booth and sold my brooches! This is me behind the booth.
Participating in markets is fun: Meeting lovely people and get everyone enthousiast about brooches.
I have loads of brooches and I wear them often.
Research brooches is one of the things I love. I didn’t knew much about dogs before I found this lot with dogs!

Finding brooches and sharing the stories

My name is Babette and I am a passionate collector of brooches.
It started when I was little. I accompanied my mom when she was visiting flea markets. There I developed a strong crush for forgotten jewelery pieces like brooches. Slowly my brooch collection started to grow.
Right now I am sharing my brooches with you so you can wear these fabulous accessories
as well.
Furthermore I love: vintage (kitchen) goodies, dresses, hot tea, cats, books, Christmas, parties and summer.

The Name: Broesj
I'm Dutch. In the Netherlands we call a brooche 'broche', which is pronounced 'brosj'. While I was fantasizing about starting my own little Etsy-shoppe I came up with the name 'broesj'. It has something from 'broche' in it and sounds a bit like 'babushka' (the mistaken name for the Russian dolls (they are called Matryoshka pop. A babushka is a headscarf).

I ship worldwide via regular mail therefor I am not able to sent you Tracking info.
Please let me know if you wish that I use track and trace, then you need to upgrade the shipping costs.
Items will be shipped to your ETSY ADDRESS! So please make sure that it's correct.

Shipping will be done as soon as possible, after the payment is received. It will take a maximum of 48hours.

I will take care of your order by wrap and ship properly. Unfortunately sometimes it gets rough in the mail. Please let me know if anything has happened, then we can most definitely work something out. My goal is that customers are super happy with their purchase!

I gift wrap all my orders. But if you have a specific wish or sent a gift directly to a friend with a personalized message: inform me for the specific wishes and i can add for example a customized card.
