Hello, I'm Maggie. I've been thrifting for nearly a decade searching out recycled fashions and timeless vintage garments for everyday wear. I am addicted to unique textiles, quality cuts and materials, and the original self image one is able to achieve wearing vintage clothing.

I have always had great admiration for big name sellers who showcase their lovely items on the internet to be coveted by a worldwide market. And although I pursued a degree in Psychology, I envisioned myself opening a store online.

With an already enormous and growing personal collection, BrownCowVintage or BCV was born just over a year ago when I decided to go all or nothing on Etsy. I bought my first DSLR camera and starting contacting all the prettiest girls I knew.

Today, I have two rooms (officially) dedicated to the store and manage a full time operation with the help of my beautiful models and encouraging family and friends. I continue to refine my taste, search out items with a certain wow factor, and style them in a relatable manner.

Returns and exchanges
All items are carefully checked for quality while in my possession. However, I am not responsible for damage that occurs after purchase. If you have any concerns, do not hesitate to message me. I take these messages seriously and will respond promptly.

Refunds will ONLY be offered for gross misinterpretations of the item for sale. If you would like to REQUEST a refund you must do so within 5 business days of the items arrival and have it post marked (with a tracking number) within 7 days at your own expense. Seller reserves the right to refuse refunds. Check measurements and condition carefully before making your purchase! No returns based on buyers remorse or improper fit.

Payment
BrownCowVintage accepts Paypal and credit card payments. If you wish to pay using a Money Order, please contact me beforehand. I only accept Money Orders issued by the USPS that are postmarked within 3 business days of purchase.

I will accept order cancellations under special circumstances. However, I ask that buyers PLEASE take the time to read the full listing and use discretion in purchasing. In return, I will take the same care and consideration in making the listings so buyers can make informed decisions when purchasing.
Shipping
As soon as your payment has cleared, your item will be mailed within 1-3 business days. Please message me beforehand if you need your item by a designated date! Expedited shipping is available at the customers expense.

If possible, your item will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail to keep costs at a minimum. Shoes and jackets tend to be heavier and accordingly cost a bit extra. Every domestic package includes a tracking number which is granted upon request.

Worldwide shipping also available! Unfortunately I cannot include a tracking number on items shipped outside of the United States. The best I can offer is a customs number to determine when your item left the US and entered the country of destination. Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for international packages to arrive.

I am NOT responsible for international items lost in transit. I will, however, make every effort to locate the package.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am happy to reserve items for SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY! I will hold items up to 7 DAYS. In the instances that a buyer needs longer than one week, a nonrefundable down payment of 25% must be paid on the item. Please message me with a request and an approximate date by which you plan to purchase the item. Communication and follow through on the purchase are greatly appreciated.

Items are sold AS IS. Items are not laundered unless otherwise specified. Specific items have been organically dry cleaned and are ready to wear. Certain items that are machine/hand wash safe have also been cleaned. Items are stored in a smoke free environment, BUT I do have a cat as a warning for those with allergies.
