How we started

We opened our first bookshop in 2001 with about 10,000 books. Currently, we have about a quarter-million books divided between our two stores and offsite storage.

About 85-90% of our books are NOT online. Our name is exactly correct: we are a bookstore for browsers. The internet, however, allows us to reach a wider audience for a few of our books. It's always been a part of our business model, though we've just started on Etsy in late 2016.

    I've been selling books since 1999, and have had my own store since 2001. In 2006, we opened our second store. I volunteer for my kids' orchestra programs, enjoy reading (big surprise), kayaking, and my cat Fluffy. She is very fluffy!

We don't have themed wrapping paper. The book will arrive professionally packed for shipping.
