The painting of my grandchildren at the beach is beautiful. Sara Jo managed to capture every curl and whirl on their wee heads from a photo. This is to be a 50th anniversary gift for my husband. I know he will love it, too. Thankyou, Sara Jo. Rosemary

This was a gift for my parents for Christmas. They love it so much! The design and script were very lovely. This will be a treasured keepsake for generations to come. Sara Jo exceeded my expectations of how quickly she was able to create and ship this legacy board. My mom is now a follower and fan of Bryarton Farm!

About

THE ART FARM

After meeting in college Michael and Sara Jo, both artists, married in 2009. They shared a dream of owning a vintage farmhouse in the country as a creative space for their art and design studio.
So in May of 2014 the Floyds jumped at the chance to start a new adventure when they purchased an 1893 “fixer upper” farmhouse and barn on acreage in beautiful rural Kansas. They named the shabby little farm Bryarton Farm to represent that God wired both of them as artists. The letters A R T at the heart of the name seemed to spell out their dream perfectly.
Sara Jo has been drawing and painting since she was a young child. She earned a bachelors degree in commercial art, which gave her a strong foundation painting with oil, acrylic, and watercolor. She also enjoys creating freehand lettering and whimsical calligraphy. Since graduating she has fallen in love with interior design. Sara loves working from home as blogger and artist, so that she can devote time to her two beautiful girls.
On career day when Michael was in third grade, he chose to draw himself as an artist. Over the years, his interest in the arts has moved away from painting and toward calligraphy, photography, and graphic design. He edits the blog and is continuously working to restore the farmhouse. In college, he minored in graphic design.
