Inspired and named after two of the cutest pups in the world, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Neligh (B. Shine) and a Chocolate Lab Mix, Hudson (Boots).

Payment
PAYMENT METHODS
We currently accept PayPal, checks, money orders, and will be adding credit cards to our method of payments as soon as it is available via Etsy. Please contact us directly if you would like to make payment using a check or money order- please note additional processing time will be added since we will have to wait for the checks or money orders to clear the bank.

TAXES
A 7% tax will be collected on all state of Georgia residences.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Since orders will ship within 1-2 business days from the time of purchase, cancellation requests will only be honored if the item has not been shipped. Please contact us via email at b.shineandboots [!at] gmail.com to request a cancellation or to see if your order has been shipped prior to the cancellation request.
Shipping
SHIPPING METHODS
USPS First Class, Parcel Post, and Priority Mail are currently the only methods priced in our shipping sections. The shipping method will be listed per item in each description section. Large orders may be shipped via UPS or FedEx.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING
Available upon request. Please contact us before purchasing to see the availability of this option, as well as the additional charges for expedited shipping. Actual expedited shipping costs will be charged, as well as the cost listed in the shipping section (i.e., if expedited shipping costs equaled $15 and the shipping section stated $5 shipping and handling, the total for expedited shipping would be $20).

SHIPPING TIME
All orders will ship within 1-2 business days at this time. If the handling time changes, we will update this section to reflect the current lead times. Please note the processing time is different from the time in transit and package delivery may vary based on location and other elements outside of our control. IMPORTANT- We must rely on the shipping carrier to deliver the package promptly and per their policies, once the package leaves our location.

INSURANCE
Please purchase insurance for your item. Based on USPS's claims policy, we are unable to file a claim if there are any issues with the package if the customer does not purchase insurance. Please see the "Damaged/Lost Packages" section under the Refund Policy for more information and a link to USPS's claims policy.

TRACKING
A delivery confirmation number will be issued for your package if shipped USPS and a tracking number will be assigned to your order if UPS or FedEx is used (for large orders). Please look for a message with a delivery confirmation number or tracking information to follow the shipment of your order.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENT
We do ship internationally. Please note the shipping charges for shipments outside the Continental 48 United States will vary. Buyers are responsible for any customs fees/charges.
Refunds and Exchanges
RETURNS
We accept returns, even if there are no issues with the order. Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges for the order will not be refunded. Items must be returned in original condition with any original packaging, etc. If the item is returned and is not in original/new condition, a refund will not be granted (a picture will be sent showing the customer why a refund cannot be issued). Original condition consists of no damage, no missing pieces, and other such issues. Returns must be sent with a delivery confirmation or tracking number for your protection and ours. We are not responsible for any lost returns due to a shipping carrier error. A claim must be filed by the customer with the shipping carrier used for the return. A reprocessing/restocking fee of up to 15% may be charged on any returns that are not due to our error, if the customer does not contact us prior to returning an item for the proper instructions. An extended return period of 30 days will be issued for all orders placed around the holidays.

EXCHANGES
We accept exchanges for customers requesting a different item. Please note the item you would like for exchange may not be available so please check with us before returning any items for exchange. We will provide all necessary exchange instructions at that time. Buyers are responsible for the return shipping and the exact shipping cost to ship the new item. We will inform the customer of the exact shipping amount in the exchange instructions email. Payment to ship the new item may be made via PayPal or customers may send a check, money order, or cash with the return shipment (checks and money orders must be cleared by the bank before the exchange can be made). Exchanges must be made within 14 days of receipt. Holiday exchanges are extended to 30 days.

INCORRECT ITEM
We will fix any error on our part. Please contact us at b.shineandboots [!at] gmail.com to inform us of the issue. A replacement will be sent with a prepaid return label for any incorrect shipments. We will send a message with a new delivery confirmation number upon reshipment. Our top priority is to make sure our customers are satisfied with their purchases so we will get the correct item shipped immediately upon notification of the incorrect order being received. Please note we ship the correct item with a prepaid return label using the honor system that our customers will return the incorrect item.

DAMAGED/LOST PACKAGES
If the delivery confirmation or tracking number show the package as delivered and you have not received the package, please check with all members of your household, your neighbors, and if you live in an apartment complex, the front office. If you are still unable to locate your package, please contact the shipping carrier with your delivery confirmation (USPS) or tracking number (UPS or FedEx) to see if your local carrier mis-delivered the package. If the shipping carrier confirms the package is delivered to the correct address provided by the customer, we cannot be held liable for a replacement or refund. All items are sent new and have been inspected before shipment so if an item arrives damaged, the issue occurred during shipment. Please send pictures of any damaged items so we may file a claim with USPS. We will file a claim with USPS (UPS or FedEx for large orders) for any missing or damaged packages if the customer purchased shipping insurance at checkout. Please note that USPS will not allow a claim to be filed for any missing or damaged packages unless the customer purchases insurance on the package. If the shipping carrier grants the claim (can take up to 10 business days with most carriers), we will ship a replacement or issue a refund at that time.
