Announcement   Welcome to my Etsy shop :O)
Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions about my products. I love custom orders and creating jewelry for weddings, fundraisers, etc.

My handmade glass acorns, cherries, drops and globes are created with Italian or German soda lime glass at the torch using an "off mandrel" technique (meaning they are essentially a solid drop of glass with only one hole), and then annealed in the kiln over night. I use real acorn caps on my glass acorns, preserving them with a light sealing of museum quality wax. No two are alike. Just a reminder that unless the listing specifies 'ready to ship', each of my glasswork pieces is made by me and me only, one at a time, by hand, and are 'made to order' - meaning I don't start to make them until after they are ordered. It typically takes 7-10 days to complete each order. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Also, to anyone making large orders or having their orders sent overseas, please please consider buying insurance through USPS. It is not required but definitely recommended. The costs start at just 1.65 and covers your parcel if it is damaged or lost as it makes its way through customs, various postal sorting offices and many different hands and modes of transportation. I offer a separate listing for insurance in my store should you decide to add it.

Again, let me know if you have any questions or special requests before, during or after ordering and I will do what I can to help you out. If you're interested in designing your own acorn or customizing one I already make, just drop me a line.

Thanks again for your interest and support!

On the vintage supply side of my store....

...unless noted, all metal items are true vintage (not reproduced "new vintage" findings). The gorgeous Patina found on my components were produced naturally over time-some may have more patina than others.
...components will be shipped in the original condition they were found (meaning some may have dirt and/or oily residue). Clean up is easy and I can offer suggestions if you send me a convo, but I wouldn't recommend taking away the aged patina finish~why would you want to? It's the unique and unusual quality that only "true" vintage provides.
...many times I have additional quantities from what you see listed. If you would like a larger amount just send me a note with your requests and I can set up a reserve listing just for you (this is a great way to save on shipping costs as well :0)

Thanks for visiting!

The glass items in my store are created entirely by me here in my messy home studio. They are properly annealed overnight in a digitally controlled kiln to ensure strength and durability,
I use lead, nickel and cadmium free jewelry findings in my finished work.

If you're interested in multiples when a listing shows only 1 available-please contact me directly using the Etsy convo system. Whenever possible I can make others similar to those you see listed.

I gladly accept larger orders for weddings, fund raising events, etc. Let me know if you have something in mind :O)

I ship each item in a ribbon tied gift box and am happy to include a short, handwritten personal note. Just let me know in the note to seller area during the checkout process.

My "made to order" items take an average of 3-5 days to ship from the time of purchase.
Shipping times vary from 3-5 days within the United States. International orders generally arrive 7-10 days (although this is not guaranteed).

I will consider 'rush' orders at an extra cost of $15 per item if my studio time allows - just ask if you're interested in this option.

Shipping
I use USPS shipping as my carrier and provide delivery confirmation on each package. You may want to consider buying postal insurance through USPS. The cost is usually pretty low (starting at $1.65) so I recommend it to all our international customers who are more likely to have shipping issues like loss, damage or delay. I have a link in my store if you're interested: www.etsy.com/listing/205469099/shipping-insurance. Unfortunately, once sent-I am not responsible for packages shipped without insurance.

Larger items will have shipping charges appropriate to size and weight of package.

I am not responsible for any custom fees, loss, damage or delay caused by postal services.
