Hello my bumblebees! I'm Kimmy and I am a bullet journalist living in beautiful Melbourne, Australia. I have a background in construction finance but I am currently a stay at home mum to 3 beautiful kids. I am a self-taught artist who believes in learning through doing. Art is an expression of yourself, there is no wrong way to do it, just your way.

I've always loved arts and crafts since I was a little girl. I still fondly remember at my primary school graduation, my grade 6 teacher had pulled me aside and lovingly told me that I should look into a career as a Graphics Designer when I grew up. At the time, I had no idea what that career was, but it spoke volumes about her faith in me. She saw creative potential in me, even at that young age, when I couldn't even see it myself. But as I grew up, I’d lost my way and sidelined my passion for art. I followed my head and got into finance, when I should have followed my heart and practised my art. Since discovering the bullet journal system, it has reignited my passion for drawing and creating. It is a place where I feel the most comfortable, the most free to really express who I am.

Bullet journalling used to be my only creative outlet. Now this store will provide me with another! It will encourage me to experiment with my art, to push boundaries and to try new things. But also at the same time, it will allow me to share my work with other people. My ultimate goal would be to help people add some prettiness to their daily planning. To help free their time for other important things which they love. The most rewarding thing would be to see my art adorned in someone else's journal, to see it utilised in creative ways. Art has shown me that it’s never too late to pick a new career. That you can reach for the stars and follow your dreams. The magic is in seeing where it can lead you.
