Announcement   Stained glass, lampwork beads, needlepoint canvases, cross stitch design, ACEOs, origami, silver jewelry, beaded jewelry, quilted and sewn items, crochet, found object art and upcycled items, buttons, and a whole lot more are all likely to be found inside of Bunny's Hutch.

Welcome to my ever-evolving Etsy shop!

I am a working mother of two wonderful daughters who sell their items through an urban crafters/artists co-op they created called "Baltimore Babes". Please visit them at this link to see what they have to offer : https://www.etsy.com/shop/BaltimoreBabes

I am also a collector/packrat and lover of all things old, dusty, rusty, and broken. My passion for estate sales, auctions, and thrifting helps me fill a vintage shop here on Etsy named "Albreda's Attic" which can be found at: http://www.albredasattic.etsy.com
Please stop by to see what I might have in stock this week.

About

A passion to create...

I found Etsy fairly early on in its existence. I've been an internet geek since before the internet was the internet (anyone here remember bbses?) and knew that I had found a creative "home" when I fluttered into Etsy one day purely by accident. I have a vintage shop because old things (yes, including my husband - who calls himself my favorite antique) have a life and personality of their own and being a history buff, they draw me like a magnet. I'm forever finding things that I love but can't keep. So, Albreda's Attic is my other Etsy shop. This shop, my first, is where all manner of my photos, drawings, crochet, lampworked beads, cross stitch designs, stained glass, origami, collage, painted items, doodles, and other oddities that I call art might end up if I can convince myself of two things: 1. That anyone but me would want them. and 2. That i can part with them. Almost everything that I make comes pouring out of me (like my writing) unrestrained and about as raw as it gets. I am a perfectionist in many things, but lots of times something just wants out! I've never had an art class in my life, save in elementary school, a workshop at the local stained glass shop, and an online course in jewelry design. Otherwise, what you get is just me with a few tips and tricks from a craft book here and there. My major inspiration is nature, my family, thoughts that bubble to the surface of my consciousness, music (I love to sing and play flute), and even cooking. Almost everything grabs my interest at one time or another, so I'm pretty random and prone to changing course in mid-whatever... Some call it ADD, around our house we call it "oooh, butterflies!" I'm very into history, preservation, grave recording, writing, art of all kinds (my own and others), animals (especially my 5 furry babies), roadside americana, the odd and quirky side of life, reading, horror and science fiction, cooking & baking, homesteading skills and self-reliance, traditions & cultural studies, and the list goes on and on.... I hope that you'll find something here that entertains you, makes you think, makes you smile, gives you an idea, or finds a home in your life. If you are coming along with me on this creative journey that we call life, grab a handhold, it's going to be a bumpy ride!

Although I'm fairly new to Etsy, I have years of Ebay selling "under my belt" and have over 300 feedback with NO NEGATIVES, so buy with confidence. I have another shop here under the username TwistingTheRope and a vintage shop under the name of AlbredasAttic. Please stop by and check out my other offerings.

Payment
I hate to inconvenience a customer, but due to a very small amount of time which I can devote to these shops, I have switched my payment methods to strictly Paypal. I'm sorry if this limits my customers in any way, but it is the easiest way for me to accept payments at present.
Shipping
I ship through the USPS exclusively.

My shipping day is Friday, or whenever you order, depending on either my whim, the weather, or if it is approaching a holiday and I'm trying to get things to you ASAP. I try to stick to Fridays just so that I only go to the PO one day a week instead of six... saves gas, you know.

If the item is listed as coming in some special packaging such as a gift box, etc., then it will. Otherwise expect most jewelry in bubble mailers, paper goods in stiff mailers, soft items in bubble mailers, etc. If you want something as a gift, please be advised that for Paypal orders I will ONLY ship to the address on file with Paypal. (Again, they don't offer me any protections if I don't do this. Paypal's rule, not mine.) So, try to order in plenty of time that you can repack and send the item to its intended recipient. For instance, during the holidays mail is slow, so order items earlier!

I will ship internationally, however international buyers will have to convo me to calculate exact shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
I try to be reasonable on my shipping, using plenty of padding and good materials to get the item to you in perfect shape. I do recycle packing materials as we are very green at our house, so please don't be offended if all that it comes wrapped in is not brand new! However, I've never had anyone complain about a broken item yet in years of selling on Ebay.

I CANNOT be held responsible for loss or damage due to the post office's negligence! So, if you want it, I can ammend your shipping to include insurance and/or delivery confirmation or other services. On higher priced items I will insist on delivery confirmation for my own protection. (Paypal doesn't want to talk to you about a disputed item if you don't have confirmation that it was sent.) I will NOT accept a return for any item unless it was clearly damaged due to my poor packaging (this hasn't happened yet!) or unless it is not what you ordered/what I described. (ie. the ad was for a scarf and you got a hat, or the ad was for a blue necklace and you got a green one...) This doesn't mean that I don't want you as the customer to be happy, but I cannot "eat" the shipping on items that a customer simply "doesn't like" once they receive them! So, unless the mistake is mine, no returns will be accepted or refunds given, sorry!
