Recuerdo el fabuloso armario de mi madre. Estaba lleno de monos con fondo de campana, vestidos de fiesta hawaianos hasta el suelo, pelucas y caídas, sombreros escandalosos, tops de ganchillo y zapatos Ferragamo. Ella me inculcó el amor por los artículos divertidos en colores brillantes y alegres.
Mis tías mayores usaban vestidos de la década de 1950, pantalones de cigarrillo, bufandas de gasa y llevaban bolsos de Enid Collins.

Mi cosa favorita en la vida es la búsqueda de artículos vintage de estas épocas en pequeños pueblos peculiares en y alrededor de Texas.

I remember my mother's fabulous closet. It was full of bell-bottomed jumpsuits, Hawaiian floor length party dresses, wigs and falls, outrageous hats, crochet tops, and Ferragamo shoes. She instilled in me a love of fun items in bright, cheery colors.
My older aunts wore 1950s dresses, cigarette pants, chiffon scarves, and carried Enid Collins handbags.

My favorite thing in life is hunting for vintage items from these eras in small quirky towns in and around Texas.
