Refunds and cancelled orders: I do allow for orders to be cancelled within 24 hours of the order being placed. However, all cancelled orders will be processed minus a 10% restocking fee. This covers my time for having to stop and process the refund. Orders may not be cancelled after 24 hours as it is likely that your item is already being worked on.
When an order is cancelled after the item has shipped you will receive a refund for the purchase price only. Refunds will not be given for shipping once the item has already shipped.

Please note: I do my very best to ship all items by the 6th business day. If there is a delay in your item getting to you it is because of a delay within the USPS. If there is a question about your order please feel free to message me. On a case by case basis I do replace items if the tracking shows that it hasn't been delivered. However, since this is money out of my own pocket (to replace and reship the items, not to mention the time it takes to make the item) I do require there be 30 days with no tracking info per USPS before I replace them. I do allow for the items to be re purchased and if the first package is not delivered within 30 days of last tracking I will refund the purchase price of the second purchase. When the first package arrives you may simply mark RETURN TO SENDER on it and send it back to me, at which time, I will refund the purchase price of the second package. This rarely happens but I do feel the need to address this in my policies in the event that it does happen. If you have any questions please feel free to message me:)

Please note: Buttercup's is NOT responsible for packages once they show they have been delivered by the USPS. If your package shows USPS delivered it you will need to take your tracking number to the post office. They should be able to help you. Buttercup's will not replace items once they show by tracking that they have been delivered by USPS.

I am a former K5 teacher, turned stay at home mom, turned entrepreneur. Buttercups was started in 2010, shortly after the birth of my daughter. I knew when I became a mom I would want to be able to stay at home with my children. With the economy what it was back then I knew I'd have to do something to help contribute to the finances of our family. Shortly after the birth of my daughter I traded some clothes of my son's for some hair bows for my daughter with a lady on Ebay. When I received the hair bows a huge lightbulb went off. I just KNEW I could make enough selling hair bows to help my little family's finances. We were so broke. I mean broke! I knew if I was going to go into this thing I would have to start small. I took just a few dollars and bought some ribbon. I started out making butterfly, dragonfly and lady bug clips. I sold those and took the money I made from that and bought more supplies. I just kept pouring my profits into more supplies so I didn't have to take away from our bill money to build my business. After I got up enough supplies and got a few more bow styles under my belt I began to wholesale bows to other bow makers. People would question me about doing shows and selling them online but I was just content to wholesale. I will never forget the time I heard the saying "work smarter, not harder". Changed my life! In that instant, I knew I had been working harder and definitely NOT smarter. Right then I vowed to start selling at craft shows. Craft shows are FUN! We got the whole family involved. My husband, kids, in laws and dad all pitched in to help at every single show! It was awesome! I loved doing the shows. However, show season is usually in the spring and fall. I refused to do shows in the summer...I am NOT very hearty in the summer heat, lol. I decided to give Etsy a try in hopes to bring in some more consistent cash flow. I started my shop in Aug. of 2012. I'm not really sure what happened but it was pretty much full speed ahead from the get go. I can't tell you what this has meant for our family! I put in an enormous amount of hours working 7 days a week but I wouldn't have it any other way. I appreciate my family supporting me and understanding my crazy work hours. I also appreciate each and every customer who purchases from my little shop. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Welcome to Buttercup's Boutique! I hope your experience with Buttercup's is a pleasant one. I work hard to make sure all customer's are 100% satisfied with their purchase. If there is a problem with your order please let me know and I will work with you to correct the problem. All Items are handmade by me in my smoke/pet free home.

Shipping
I am currently running on a 6 business day before shipping time. If you need something rushed, please let me know BEFORE ordering so that I can let you know if I can accommodate your request. Most packages ship first class, which the USPS says takes up to 7 business days to reach it's destination. If you need priority shipping please let me know ahead of time so I can set up a special listing for you.

Quick Ship applies only to listings marked as such. If you purchase a quick ship item along with a regular item regular processing time applies.

Once items are in the possession of the post office I have no control over them. If there is a problem with shipping you will need to contact the post office directly. All items will have delivery confirmation on them so that you can track them.


Please note: Buttercups is NOT responsible for packages once they show they have been delivered by the USPS. If your package shows USPS delivered it you will need to take your tracking number to the post office. They should be able to help you. Buttercup's will not replace items once they show by tracking that they have been delivered by USPS.

Due to the nature of our products we do not accept returns.

If there is a problem with your order I need to be notified within 48 hours of the package being delivered.

While I am happy to ship to international destinations, ButtercupsBows is not responsible for any customs fees that may be charged by individual countries. By placing an order with my shop you acknowledge that my shop is in no way responsible for customs fees.
