I"m so excited you stopped by to check out my work!

My name is Vanessa and I am the owner/designer of Butterfly Boutique Designs.
For those of of you who don't know, "Vanessa" means BUTTERFLY!
I have always had a crafty side to me, I have a huge passion for Paper, Pens, Paints anything I can make something else with. I use to make my mom stand in the Office supply aisle forever when I was younger. I wanted the newest coolest pen/markers that were out. When computers became mainstream (I was still really young) you better believe I was all over PAINT and NOTEPAD programs. I've always been a busy bee (or well butterfly <3) always looking for new projects/crafts.
When my husband and I were getting married of course I really wanted to DIY everything! But little did I know, someone should have told me, you shouldn't diy YOUR own wedding by YOURSELF. haha. I started making our invitations, I had BIG ideas for them. But due to the stress of planning and making all the decisions I was becoming very overwhelmed and when the invites didn't turn out exactly how I envisioned them, I just wanted to call it quits! So I did and hired someone to do it for me!
That is why I'm here NOW! To assist those overwhelmed Brides like I was, at an affordable price, in making beautiful wedding invitations and more just as they IMAGINE or if they prefer, how I imagine. :)
It's all about making the Bride as stress free as possible but most importantly happy with the decisions she makes! And choosing Butterfly Boutique Designs for your Invitations will make you very happy! :)

Turn Around Time
Production time varies depending on the time of year and the complexity of the product ordered. Turn around time is also determined by how many orders are ahead of you when you order. I like to prepare my brides to expect roughly 4-6 weeks, it could be sooner or later. If you need your items quickly please contact me before you order to verify that I will be able to complete them in the allotted time frame.

PayPal and Direct Deposit payments are accepted, however, paypal is the preferred method because it allows for a quicker turn around. Payment plans are available, if you feel that is an option you are interested in, please convo me and we can get one set up for you. Full payment is due before your order will be shipped.

Rush Orders
If you need your items quickly please contact me and let me know so we can see if we have the materials in stock before you order. A rush fee may apply and will be considered on a case by case basis

Please remember that you are buying a hand made product. While I pride myself in the beauty and perfection of my work there may be very small differences due to the handmade nature of the product. I only use high quality card stock, papers embellishments and ribbon. Please read my reviews you will see that our products are of excellent quality.

Colors can vary from monitor to monitor. Please feel free to ask me about any colors or to help you select colors that will look best together. You can always order a sample invitation to view in person. All samples are $10.00 each and if you place an order with me $10.00 will be deducted from your total purchase regardless of how many samples you are order.

Approval Process
Once an order is placed I will create PDF file proofs for you to review. You will be able to make changes you wish to see and I will send you a new proof for review. All proofs must be approved before they are printed. Once approved I am no longer held liable for any grammatical/spelling errors that are found. Once printing has begun no changes can be made. If a change needs to be made of if a mistake is found after the order has been printed the customer will have to pay to have them re-printed.

Due to the time consuming nature of the process, once an order is placed it is non refundable.

Photography Permissions
If your order involves pictures- it is your responsibility to make sure you have the permission of the photographer to use the pictures for reprinting. Please respect the work of your photographer and make sure they have given written permission to re print their photographs.

I accept both Pay Pal and Direct Checkout methods of payment. Paypal is preferred, for it allows for a quicker turn around :)
I know what it is like to be a bride on a budget so payment plans are available but must be paid in full before your order will ship!
Refunds and Exchanges
Deposits are non-refundable as they are used to custom purchase materials for the order.

You will have plenty of opportunities to approve your digital files with your event information. Once final digital files are approved and printing has occurred, If there is a mistake found on the invitation I cannot be held financially responsible. If the error is found before assembly begins, I'll be happy to correct the error at the cost of any wasted materials. However, no refunds will be offered on any order where the digital file was approved by the customer.

When mailing invitations from Butterfly Boutique it is important that you consult your local postage carrier to insure you purchase enough postage to ship them safely and securely. Butterfly Boutique is not responsible for invitations that are shipped back to the customer and or/damaged upon arrival due to lack of postage being purchased.

Butterfly Boutique is not responsible for the order after it leaves our hands and is dropped off at the post office. We will not be held liable for lost or stolen items due to another's fault other than our own.
Additional policies and FAQs
Rush orders are available when possible for an additional fee of between 15-20% depending on the circumstance and size of order. Please contact me for more information if you need to put a rush on it!

What is the average turn around time for an order

What is the ordering and approval process?

After you have selected your invite and quantity, I will create a custom order listing for you. I will send you the link and there is where you will purchase your order.
Once payment is received, I'll request your information for your invite and I will send you a PDF for your approval. Once you have thoroughly looked over and approved the PDF, I am no longer responsible for grammatical/spelling errors etc. that you may find after the printing process has begun.
Assembly of your order will begin and I will ship your order to the designated address listed with your order.
