Art, crafts and handmade items whether by my hands or another's gives me visual tickles and heartfelt giggles and we all need more of that! Well most everything does that for me, I do love to find and usually can find the fun and whimsical side to things.

I adore the effort and time that is lovingly transferred into handmade items. For me, when someone creates an item they are sharing an imprint of their soul.

I have had the crafting gene all my life, a lovely pass down from my wonderfully unique and crafty grandmother Ruby Dove. I have enjoyed crafts of all kinds ranging from quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, ceramics, pottery, porcelain doll making, painting, jewelry making, furniture making and refinishing, sketching, carving, crocheting, sculpting, etc and love learning new crafts. I've also dabbled over the years in construction/home repair and can tile, sheet rock and paint with the best of them :)

I see the beauty and different uses in so many things and I am often accused of altering everything I own which may sometimes be 96% true :)

I hope that the items that I create bring as much joy to others as it has for me.
