This limited edition "Two Perspectives Cuff" design just got its glamour shot! No matter how different the two sides may seem, and what may divide them, together they make one beautiful bracelet. That is my hope for the potential of humanity.
Upside down, reverse mirror images, things that are the same but not quite alike... Stranger Things have happened, but this original cuff design was inspired by a Netflix show! Cut, filed, hammered and formed by hand this bracelet is made to order!
Squeeze me. Crush me. Make me wine! I love how distressing grapes over time can help them transform into something divine. I'm finding lots of inspiration from the nearby vineyards for my Tendrils of the Vine Collection.

A Reawakened Passion

I have been designing and creating handmade wearable art since my youth, often using unique combinations of materials, findings and techniques. I remember my mom would come home with antique pieces which she had purchased (often items which had been recovered from estate sales), and I would re-make them into my original designs which were more her style or which would fit into her wardrobe.

I came to selling my work quite unintentionally; though I never lost my creative spirit and drive, my dreams were in the field of psychology. When life happened, as it does, I found myself at a crossroads. The plan I had been following for most of a decade went up in smoke and I was left in unfamiliar territory. When I felt lost and purposeless, I found my passion reawakened in the art which had been reduced to a neglected hobby during the years of college and graduate school.

Ever conscious of the opportunities and support which have been given to me by others, it was important to me to share whatever success I have with others. To do that, I created Butterfly Sundries with a socially-responsible mission far grander and more charitable than just creating beautiful artwork to sell for profit. I want to help create a better world for all of us, one gift at a time. For a small business with only one artist, this is a challenging goal. I cannot do everything- but what I can do, I must do… and so began my plan.

I created a Featured Charity Program for Butterfly Sundries. Every three months I choose a new 501c3 charity which inspires me to feature and promote. During the three months they are featured they receive 10% of all Butterfly Sundries’ sale profits; afterward, for an additional 9 months, they continue to receive 10% of the sale profits from all items in the jewelry collection, inspired by their programming, which I create. These collections are designed, developed and created at no cost to the charities which they promote.

Believing in transparency and accountability, information about Butterfly Sundries’ Featured Charities is always disclosed to my clients so they can choose which causes they wish to support with their money. Creating a better world is collaboration, and I am happy to do my part to facilitate the good work of others.

I invite you to join me (and my Featured Charities!) in the endeavor to create a more beautiful world, one gift at a time. ~Rebekka

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

In general, I do not take custom orders. However, if you see (or have seen) a piece in my inventories which you would like adapted (e.g. length, size, design or metal type) to suit your preferences I would be happy to discuss a project with you.

Wholesale availability

I welcome inquiries; please message me so we can explore the possibilities!

Gift wrapping and packaging

Prior to mailing, all orders/items are packaged in a standard white gift box (unless otherwise indicated) to prevent damage during shipping; if you would like to upgrade a black velvet gift box for jewelry items message me or include a note with your order and I will create a listing for you with that service included.

Return Policy

I do my best to ensure photographs accurately represent all items sold through my shop; please expect minor variations depending upon the settings of your viewing screen & materials in-stock at the time of your order (cord type, chain style, etc.)

For health reasons (both for myself & my clients), I cannot under any circumstances process the return or exchange of any item smelling of (and contaminated by) cigarette smoke, fragrances or other substances. These items are a total loss for my business and no refund will be issued.

Buyer is responsible for shipping charges of return items (I recommend insurance!) & for any chosen exchange. Exchanges will not be processed until the returned item has been received & its value assessed.
