About ButtersAndBee
Butters & Bee
Sewing and quilting have always been passions of mine. When I adopted my cat, Ashby, I flew into a frenzy of sewing outfits and toys for her. She was not really a fan, so I took the hint and left her alone. More recently, my fiancé Chad and I got a Toy Australian Shepherd puppy that we named Butters, and that is how Butters & Bee was born.
I wanted to have cute bandanas for Butters to wear when we got her, but I couldn't justify spending so much on boring bandanas from the pet store. I turned to my BFF, Pinterest, and soon learned how to create over the collar bandanas. I made a few of these for Butters, as well as some for her older brother Bruins (my dad's dog) and her older sister Khali (my grandma & brother's dog). I became addicted to making dog bandanas and soon found my craft room filled to the brim with beautiful fabrics. Realizing that I didn't need this many bandanas (and that Chad would probably kill me when he saw all the fabric I purchased), I decided to make my own little shop so other dogs and cats can enjoy the same homemade accessories that my pets do.

Butters is a 8 month old Blue Merle Toy Australian Shepherd. Born on February 14, she was the perfect Valentine's Day gift and is the inspiration behind Butters & Bee. We can't wait for her to grow up and be one of the cutest agility pups ever!

Ashby
Model, Product Inspector
Ashby is a 4.5 year old Muted Tortie who we adopted from the Edmonton Humane Society 3 years ago. Her fave activity is latching onto your legs as you walk by. She is a natural model, and loves to inspect every product before it heads out the door.

Raisins
Model, Assistant
Raisins is the newest fur-member of our team and is our little Kijiji pup! Her hobbies include ensuring she is the only one getting pets, and giving Ashby a run for her money. When she decides to sit still, she makes the most gorgeous model.

Resident Cutie
Born this July, Baby B is the newest member to our zoo. She spends her days with her fur siblings, and cuddling mom or dad. Her fave activities include being held around the campfire, dancing in her Jolly Jumper, going for car rides, and eating.

Care instructions
Hand wash in cool water, lay flat to air dry. Should ironing be required, start on the lowest heat setting and move the iron quickly. Items with vinyl add ons should be ironed from the backside only, taking care to avoid placing the iron on the vinyl directly. Be sure to keep iron away from tags.
